Во время карантина было время подумать о жизненных ценностях и оказалось, что их не так уж много. Здоровье (физическое и, не менее важное, психическое), дети-семья, работа и путешествия. И именно путешествий не хватает больше всего. Вспомнила, что ровно год назад в это время была в Казани (по приглашению чудесной Наили Шаймиевой). Казань запомнилась людьми и неподдельным интересом к профессии, щедрым гостеприимством (везде с утра накрыты столы) и Университетом. КМУ один из старейших и крупных образовательных университетов России, основанный в 1814 году. В университете кроме обучающих корпусов, оснащенных по последнему слову техники (ах, как бы пригодилась сейчас вебинарная комната) есть несколько музеев. Здесь кроме бережно собранного реквизита, на каждой стенке знакомый портрет и после экскурсии осталось стойкое впечатление, что вся русская медицина корнями из Казани. Удалось посидеть за «партой» Ленина и подумать, что если бы его не отчислили за «бузотерство» возможно и наша жизнь бы сложилась бы иначе. Узнать, про Максима Горького который подрабатывал в пекарне на соседней улице и изучал пациентов Бехтерева, и в какой то момент сам стал пациентом клиники (после попытки самоубийства). Кстати, профессор, осмотрев его раненную грудь отказался от него как от безнадежного. Спас Горького молодой врач, удаливший пулю из спины. И как тут не согласится с его цитатой: «Физически я родился в Нижнем Новгороде, духовно в Казани. Казань — любимейший из моих университетов». - @_kristina_badalyan on Instagram

In fact, it was my first language, having been raised in a Spanish speaking household. 3. My birthday is, of all days, on Christmas. It sucks. Enough said. 4. I value education and have always strived to excel in this area. I took advanced classes all through middle school and high-school. Graduated by 16 and started college by 17. I eventually graduated with a BS in Marketing & Management from Penn State in May of 2018. 5. My love of food comes from the life experiences I’ve been fortunate to have. Summers spent in Mexico City and Maine, growing up in a predominantly Hispanic region, and traveling to different states and countries that have their own staple dishes. . From controversy to a coronation, this magnificent diamond tiara has borne witness to some remarkable occasions: In the late 19th century it was owned by Henry Cyril Paget, the 5th Marquess of Anglesey, a flamboyant and controversial figure who had a passion for fine jewellery and who wore much of it himself. A lover of the theatre, Henry was known as The Dancing Marquess due to his habit of performing a sinuous dance during the extravagant shows he put on and in which he invariably took a starring role. Famous for his lavish spending and colourful social life, Henry was regarded as the black sheep of the family. Despite the vast sums he inherited in 1898 along with his title, within six years he had spent it all, largely on clothes, jewels and his travelling theatre productions. He had accumulated massive debts and was forced to declare himself bankrupt in 1904. Sadly, he passed away the following year aged just 29 and the title and family estate passed to his cousin, Charles Henry Alexander Paget, who became 6th Marquess of Anglesey. Charles’s wife Marjorie, who now took ownership of the jewels that had not been sold off to repay Henry’s creditors. Amongst them was our tiara who now found itself witness to rather more formal and dignified occasions. Charles served as Lord Chamberlain to Queen Mary and the Pagets maintained close ties to the Royal family over the coming decades. Their daughter Lady Elizabeth was one of six maids of honour to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen consort, on the day her husband became King George VI in 1936. For this most regal of occasions, the Marchioness wore this tiara creating a spectacular overall look. She was photographed in her finery by renowned photographer Cecil Beaton who had been commissioned by Vogue magazine to take a series of pictures of peeresses in their finery to appear in a special Coronation edition of the magazine. It is interesting to note that the First Marquess of Anglesey won the family seat Plas Newydd for the price of leg he lost at Waterloo – his bloody trousers are still on exhibit there. The tiara has remained in the family until recently and is now being offered for sale by Hancocks. - @hancocks_diamonds on Instagram
