Ich finde sowas immer total spannend zu sehen und hier hat Mia wirklich toll gezaubert 😍 Beim Set war es mir wichtig auch mit echten Pflanzen zu arbeiten, da diese einfach besser aussehen. Die Pflanzen habe ich aus dem Teich meines Vater ausgeliehen und abgeduscht. Danach kamen sie wieder zurück in den Teich. Cest toujours un jour particulier lorsquon reçoit les premiers exemplaires dun livre. Mais celui-ci a une saveur toute particulière ! Cest mon tout premier conte co-ecrit il y a 6 ans avec @myriam.dahman et dont lédition originale est anglaise. Nous lavions écrit en français puis traduit en anglais pour pouvoir le faire lire à @juliasardaportabella en espérant quelle accepte de lilluster... Quand elle accepte, cest la joie totale! Il nous semble quavec une illustratrice de ce calibre, rien ne peut plus nous arrêter. Pourtant, nous peinons à trouver un éditeur. Pendant un an nous recevons lettre de refus après lettre de refus. Mais il nous vient une idée : comme nous avions traduit le texte en anglais pour Julia, pourquoi ne pas le proposer au Royaume Uni ? Et oh bonheur ! Orchad nous signe ! Notre premier texte anglais à paraître en Angleterre ! Suite à la confiance de cet éditeur, ladaptation française est signée chez Gallimard. Nous sommes donc super fiers davoir su rebondir et ce livre est bien plus quun conte, cest aussi pour moi le trophée dun combat et dune victoire qui me semble bien belle à voir ! - @nicolasdigard on Instagram

Spirit For as long she could remember she felt trapped by life, like being a viewer to a bad play over and over again, with no possibility of running away. Tied to her seat while everyone around her could walk away. Her mind had always been a happy and playful place, where she could spend hours imagining herself flying between the dark rain clouds, and sit on the bottom of the deep dark seas and envision herself talk to all the fish, and running through the old green forests with all its creatures. Though, growing older meant she had less time since she had to think about school, friends, and education instead, and as time passed she forgot that she was a part of life and instead became trapped by it. One day her parents invited her home after many years living away, but when she drove into the driveway an old tree at the top of the hill caught her eye. She remembered all the adventures and fairy tales she had experienced; laying on the grass in the treetop, by the sea in the forest, or playing around in the forest. It all came back, like lighting splintering through the blue sky, and her eyes filled with tears when she realized how much she truly had been trapped. She even had to stop the car and sit by the old oak tree and she decidedly tells herself that that will end. She wants to be a part of life again. It is a choice we all have. I love being an actor. I love the theatre. And I LOVE costumes, wigs, and makeup. Many people who see me on stage first mistakenly think I am somehow “cool,” but this is all the work of the amazing designers with whom I’ve had the good fortune to collaborate. Here are but a few of my favorite pieces (listed below). There are 50+ costume shops in New York City employing hundreds of people, and they are on the brink of permanent closure. These shops, and arts workers around the country, need us to take action now. The Arts and Culture Industry adds $877 billion to the US economy and is seeking just 5% of that back in relief funding from Congress. Az az igazi, ha egy kötetben benne van minden. ⁣ ⁣ Elgondolkodtatott ez a meglátás, mert például trilógiák esetén szinte menetrendszerűen tapasztalom, hogy a második részek gyengébbre sikerülnek, tele vannak felesleges oldalszaporító jelenettel, ugyanakkor mégsem tudnám magabiztosan kijelenteni, hogy csak az jó, ami egy kötettel le is zárja a történetet.⁣ ⁣ Nyilván rossz, amikor akár éveket kell várni egy sorozat következő részére, mert persze, hogy azonnal szeretné tudni az ember, hogy mi is lesz a függővég folytatása, viszont én szeretek tovább maradni a szereplőkkel. ⁣ ⁣ Az előző posztban már említettem hogy nem vagyok annyira oda a hatalmas féltéglákért, de szeretek elmerülni a történetben, számomra ehhez tökéletesek a sorozatok. ⁣ Ugyanakkor nem vetem meg, ha valaki egy kötetben is tud ütőset alkotni. :)⁣ ⁣ Talán itt is csak az a lényeg, hogy a könyv jó legyen, élvezetes legyen olvasni, s aztán már mindegy, hogy egy kötettel robbantotta fel az agyam, vagy további dózisokban adagolja a mennyei mannát. :D⁣ ⁣ Néha persze az is igaz, hogy csak az üzlet miatt lesz valamiből sorozat, ami bőven elfért volna egyetlen kötetben is, de úgy gondolom, ez a ritkább eset, s a legtöbbeknek csak sok a mondanivalója, amit muszáj feldarabolni. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Neked mi a véleményed erről? Surprise! • I was so excited to receive this book from my wonderful bookstagram friends @anovelkingdom and @gingersbookclub. If there is anything better then #bookmail, it’s surprise bookmail! I’m so excited to be able to chat about this book in the #gingerkingdombuddyread this weekend. • As one of my most anticipated books this fall, Blood & Honey was devoured by me in two days. I loved the new characters, the growth of side characters, the magic, the adventure, and the romance, let’s not forget the romance. This book was filled with a lot of uncomfortable arguments between Reid and Lou, but I was happy with Mahurin’s use of the disagreements to showcase character arcs and change. And although there is a bit of a cliffhanger here, she gave me the resolution I needed between the married couple so I wouldn’t go a year with a tension stomach ache. Suddenly, I began to re-read fairy tales, since childhood I didnt touch them. I don’t remember the plots, many details are “new” to me, and new associations come with them. Many tales in general are not childish at all, although this is hardly news to anyone. I usually do analysis of works in a close friendly company, but sometimes I can share something here too 🙂 Alice in Wonderland has always inspired me, with its characters and such a hooligan absurdity. I decided to make an art, though I don’t even know how many I have on this topic, but this one is clearly not the last! Every time I shoot something from Alice’s world, its a whole story with a bunch of backstages 😃 Animated it a little, so it looks more interesting, by the way it’s not difficult at all if you use After Effects, I’ll can record a video with an explanation if its interesting for you. So we came to the point, I want to ask you what would be interesting for you to read. I want to know what my favorite audience is interested in, I have a lot of fun backstage stories, all sorts of tricks on the set, the techniques in processing, simple ones and more complicated, even in the animation I try a bit. Or maybe youre interested in what lives inside of me (well, except for the organs 😅), what the artist is sad about, where to look for the inspiration, what are the difficulties of working on freelance and how do I even earn money? Or can we philosophize about the sense of life and questions of the universe? Yes, Im a God damn fount of experience! 😃 Im usually not able to shut up in a conversation, but when I sit down to write, I don’t know what to write about. Help me to fix this, ask questions, write about what is interesting to know, and I will write about this in the following posts 😉 . . .
