El Parque Nacional Sajama está ubicado en el Departamento de Oruro y fronteriza con el Parque Nacional Lauca de Chile. El Parque Nacional es uno de los destinos turísticos más importantes de Bolivia, se encuentra ubicado en plena Cordillera Occidental de los Andes y es el primer Área Protegida del país, Está situado en la provincia Sajama y es el espacio dedicado a la conservación de los ecosistemas altoandinos. En el conjunto, como atractivo natural se destaca el Nevado Sajama, volcán inactivo, cuya altitud es de 6542 m.s.n.m., es el pico más alto de Bolivia el cual se constituye en una de las rutas más codiciadas por los andinistas, alrededor del mismo se extienden amplios bosques y praderas en donde se observa fauna silvestre propia de la zona. También se encuentran los nevados Payachatas, el bosque de queñuas (árboles que crecen a mayor altitud en el mundo), la Laguna Huayñakota, Maya, la cadena de geisers de Juchusuma Sajama vertientes en ebullición, zona en la que se puede observar la emanación de aguas calientes del subsuelo y aguas termales. Machu Picchu y la leyenda del rostro en las montañas ⛰️✨ 🇵🇪 Siempre he tenido esa duda del porqué se visualiza el rostro de un inca y aquí te cuento un poquitin: 🗺️ Cuenta la leyenda que el Inca Pachacuteq después de vencer a sus enemigos “los chankas”, llevó el cuerpo inerte del líder enemigo ante su padre como ofrenda de su triunfo. Sin embargo, a Wiracocha, su padre, no le pareció algo digno y repudió los actos de su hijo menor advirtiéndole que el verdadero sucesor a Inca del Tahuantinsuyo seria su primogénito “Inca Urco”. Con la ira contenida por lo sucedido, Pachacuteq huyó del lugar para planificar y concretar la muerte de su hermano mayor, además de conspirar contra Wiracocha para auto-proclamarse Inca Gobernante del Imperio. Desterrado y enviado a vivir en soledad Wiracocha murió, y Pachacuteq mandó a embalsamar su cuerpo para exhibirlo en un templo dentro de la Ciudad Sagrada de Machu Picchu. Es aquí que la leyenda cuenta que el espíritu de Wiracocha, ya en reino de “uku pacha” (mundo de los muertos) aún con ira hacia su hijo, trató de subir al kay pacha (mundo de los vivos) para recriminarle por sus actos de odio dirigidas hacia él y su hermano mayor, pero en su intento de huida solo pudo sacar su rostro. Finalmente, los dioses que reinaban el mundo de los muertos atraparon a Wiracocha en su huida y como castigo convirtieron su rostro en montañas, estas son las que hoy se pueden apreciar detrás del recinto inca de Machu Picchu. ¿Lo sabías? 🤔 🗺️ Existen otras teorías también : MaPi ha sido creada por extraterrestres, solo es un conjunto de montañas, es la naturaleza, entre otras. Essa montanha, que se ergue aos 2720 metros acima do nível do mar e vocês já viram muito aqui no perfil é a Huayna Picchu, ou montanha nova, em quéchua. A cidadela de Machu Picchu fica aos pés da montanha de mesmo nome, e esta da foto, ao norte da cidade e por esse motivo aparece tanto, e reserva, pra quem tem coragem ( eu não tive ) um visual incrível e de um ângulo totalmente diferente do que estão acostumados a ver sobre Machu Picchu. One of my most favorite trips was my 50th surprised party to Machu Picchu Peru, where many of my close friends shared their hearts, time and love with me. What made the trip amazing wasnt the location my the friends! . Why do friends matter? . • Because they love and thank you for existing in their life . • Because they appreciate you as a person . • Because they motivate you . • Because everything Cannot be shared with family . • Because friends help you in situations where you lose belief in yourself . • Because they dont leave you when your bad phase of life is going on . • Because sharing Happiness with them multiplies your Happiness exponentially . • Because they dont judge you on your looks . • Because they dont bully you because you are lacking behind in some field. Com 6km de trilha e pouco mais de 5 mil mts de altitude, de todos os lugares que já visitei foi o que mais sofri com o soroche, mal de altitude. Tive a ajuda do guia que dava uma essência de ervas para inalar e aliviar a pressão, masquei folha de coca, até um ponto que fui obrigada a pegar um cavalinho, senão teria desistido. Mas não se iluda, o percurso do cavalinho é bem pequeno, tem que sofrer um pouco mais para ir até o final. Para minha alegria e passada a sensação que eu ia morrer, cheguei ao topo. There is a big rumor that Machu Picchu will close down, but honestly, I do not think that it will completely… but it will probably become very restricted in the number of tourists allowed to enter. Machu Picchu has a title – like any heritage site, there are certain rules that we need to follow in order to keep it that way. One of them is to limit the number of people visiting. The authorities of the National Institute of Culture, which is the institution of our archeological sites – didn’t look out for the number of entries at one point. And at one random check, they realized that there were around 6,000 – 7,000 people visiting in just one day. That’s nearly 3 times the amount of people allowed, which is 2,500 a day.⠀ Machu Picchu was then closed in 2010, I believe for two days, because of this mistake that the Peruvian people had made. And after that, they reengineered the number of entries on the site – instead of the whole day, it is now half a day. Another initiative they’ve taken to preserve it is that some places within the city have been closed off so that people cannot walk there. And that is a dramatic change, because when I started running in 2007, Machu Picchu was completely open. Like you could walk anywhere – there were no fences, no ropes, nothing. Now, every time I come back, there’s more places fenced or shut off to the public. ⠀ However, I don’t think that it’ll ever be shut completely. They might limit the number of people and close some more areas and give you special routes to walk within the site, but close it? O Peru vai te tirar o fôlego, literalmente !! As cidades mais visitadas estão a 2.400 metros acima do nível do mar. Então nas primeiras 24 horas todo mundo, que não está acostumado, sente uma falta de ar !!! ⛰💨 ⠀ Isso pôde-se resolver com o famoso chá de folha de coca (pra mim não adiantou nada, e também não fiquei doida), ou produtos derivados da planta, mas se nada funcionar as farmácias vendem uns remedinhos. ☕️🧪 ⠀ Quando for andar de táxi por lá, é bom ficar esperto, pq nos táxis não existe taxímetro, ou seja não esqueça de negociar antes a corrida.🚖 ⠀ No país existem mais de 50 tipos de milhos: vermelho, roxo, malhado, pequeno, gordinhos, pontudos, então não deixe de experimentá-los. 🌽 ⠀ Um intrigante passeio é ir conhecer as famosas linhas da civilização Nazca que foram feitas a mais de mil anos e a teoria diz que elas são pistas de pouso para naves alienígenas. 👽🛸 ⠀ O país tem muuuitas atrações, principalmente com relação as cidades Incas, mas uma das principais sem dúvida alguma é a Cidade de Machu Picchu. ⛰ ⠀ Escolher bem a época do ano, pq em algumas chove horrores; como ir até lá, trem, ônibus, carro ou trilha; dormir em Água Calientes ou voltar, é a cidade mais perto do sítio arqueológico; subir ou não Huayna Picchu, aquela montanha que vc vê em todas as fotos, inclusive na minha, tudo isso tem que ser bem planejado, pois somente 400 pessoas entram por dia no sítio arqueológico, e você não vai querer ficar de fora bem no dia !🧐🤯 ⠀ Mas vou dizer que vale mega, master a pena !!! El paisaje es simplemente espectacular, tal es así que es una de las 7 maravillas del mundo. Había tomado 4 días de tour y visitar Machupicchu fue el segundo dia. Recomiendan tomar sorochipil(pastilla para el malestar de altura). Para el tercer día me tocaba Sacsayhuaman a 3700 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Yo creía haberme aclimatado y NO. Estuve 6 horas sin poder levantar la cabeza. Tomé la pastilla y me calmó 6 horas después. Miren la última foto. Después de todo valió la pena visitarlo. We planned to be there at sunrise, woke up at 4:30am and hiked the trail from Aguas Calientes to be at the entrance before 6am. When the gate opened and we entered the ancient lost city we saw nothing, literally...it was so foggy that we were able to see walls just like 1-2 meters in front of us😅. You can imagine that we almost had tears in our eyes when fog did not disappear after 3 hours we spent up there😢. But then suddenly sun rays became stronger and pushed the fog away to show us all the beauty of this place. Jaw-dropping sight.😍 ... This post is kind of bittersweet, I was so excited to finally post it but given the actual situation and struggle with covid-19 in Peru, I feel strange. Peru is 5th most affected country by corona in the world, the lockdown was extended till end of September, nobody can travel to Peru and right now nobody knows when Machu Picchu will be reopened. 🇸🇰 MACHU PICCHU... ikona civilizácie Inkov, úžasné mesto postavené na 2430m vysokej hore. ... Machu Picchu je miesto, ktoré sa oplatí vidieť raz v živote, ale jeho návštevu si treba dobre naplánovať (logistika, financie), a niekedy ani to nestačí 😂. Naplánovali sme si totiž, že tam budeme na východ slnka, vstávali sme teda 4:30 a vyšlapali sme si trek na Slovákov z Aguas Calientes až hore (bus bol predražený) aby sme boli pred vchodom pred 6:00. Are you afraid to travel? With the world pandemic right now it is no wonder seat sales on flights have gone down. But did you know that for someone with celiac disease, traveling can be a life long fear on a regular basis? It just takes one crumb and a small amount of cross contamination of our food to make us sick for months. So I can completely understand why some people may be nervous to travel with celiac disease. However! I am here to tell you that since I was diagnosed with celiac disease I have traveled to 5 of the 7 world continents. That is just in the last 3.5 years. Traveling as a celiac is possible and it is safe, you just need to know how to prepare. Ill be writing a blog post on how I have been able to do this in the next month, but until then... The top three pieces of advice I can give are: 1) Travel with snacks 2) If you are going in a group, be sure to travel with friends and family that get your condition and understand how it can be frustrating for you to find somewhere safe to eat (like this fantastic group I went to Peru with) 3) Plan ahead Ill go into more detail with the blog post 🥰. Three years ago I climbed this incredible mountain in Peru, it took us over five days, through snow, ice and rain, sleeping in a tiny tent ⛺️. Then when we got to “the destination” it was super cloudy and grey, and I felt soooo disappointed I couldn’t get my Instagram photo😆 thankfully the sun stared to shine and I manged to get my pose in 👀, if I am honest back then I felt the need to show the whole world where I had been, and how cool I thought I was. Silly I know. It’s crazy how we do all this crazy stuff for external validation and most of the time, we are not in the present moment, the here and now... well speaking for myself ( I definitely wasn’t. WHEN TO VISIT MACHU PICCHU Visiting Machu Picchu is a real gamble when we speak about the weather, because this is the most famous place to see in the entire Peru and Cusco and one simply can not afford missing it or reaching up the mountain and discover that the whole place is covered with mist or fog. Machu Picchu enjoys a very peculiar climate in which there are two very marked weather types: the dry season and the rainy season. It is recommended that you visit during the dry season which is between April and October while the rainy season is between November and March. I was there in January but managed to be very lucky as you can see in the images I have taken. MACHU PICCHU RULES AND REGULATIONS In order to enter Machu Picchu you must be accompanied by a guide, and keep within your group at all time. The days when you could wander around the ruins are far gone and now you need to follow a designated route as part of your tour which will lead you from the first place where you have the great view of the entire area all the way to the exit. You also have a designated time for entry. This should be stated on the entry ticket that you has purchased which will tell you from what time to what time it is valuable. One of those places that literally took my breath away. Here I was still trying to catch my breath and then you see this. No matter how many photos I took... none of them made it justice! It’s just breathtaking...jaw dropping! You just got to see it in person. . . . The train ride from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes was an experience by itself. The landscape was beautiful. You can either hike up or take the bus to the park entrance. Me? I took the bus😉 I didn’t want to be sick before seeing the most awaited part of the trip! . . . There are myths regarding Machu Picchu...one of which is it was built by aliens👽 if you can believe that. It’s so hard to understand how the Incas can built this, carry those massive rocks.
