Another week, another update to our Spotify playlist. This week featuring some all time classics by the likes of @djproducer_derekcarr, @johnbeltranmusic, @kink303, Drexciya, Der Zyklus and many many more. This weeks artist of the week is a friend of ours and we shared some lovely nights already: French producer and live artist @leopolmusic. At only 28 years old, Leo-Pol Poirel has already been practicing electronic music for over a decade and gained an impressive array of titles; label boss, resident of one of the most renowned clubs in the world, multidisciplinary producer. It was back in 2015 when he released an anonymous EP on his label Uniile which really put his name on the map. The track “You Got The Funk” reached over 4 million views on YouTube. Leo went on to found his second label, @iilerecords, focused on analog 90’s house with a powerful edge. With a string of impressive releases under his belt and a budding reputation of an enigmatic live set, it was no surprise that in 2016 Paris’ infamous house and techno club @concrete.paris signed him as a resident. He also went on to release an EP on the clubs label Concrete Music. He now travels the world, with analog gear in tow, playing some of the best clubs in the world – @berghain_panoramabar, @printworkslondon, @shelteramsterdam, @dc10ibizaofficial, @robertjohnsonclub, @iboatbordeaux, @motionbristol and so on.
