We are mother and daughter team, Celeste and Lorraine aka @nanagraze ☺️ We both have a passion for food and entertaining, and we both love being creative. I remember when I was a little girl, mum was always reading cookery books and creating amazing things in the kitchen. Our dining room table was a place that brought people together for everyday meals and occasions big and small. It sparked a shared passion for food and I love how it brings people together. In my early teens, I was already hosting my own dinner parties, and inviting my friends round for banquets round my parent’s dining room table - My signature dish back then was Spaghetti Bolognese! Fast forward 20 years, I am now a mother of 3 children, (following in mum’s footsteps!), and so creating food has taken a different direction, always trying to find new creative ways to get the little ones to eat and enjoy a good balanced diet. We all know the saying that we eat with our eyes first, so we started talking about how we could use our creativity to make food a visual palette…and why should food just be fun for the kids! This is where Mama Graze was born. A good spread should be something to linger over, pick at and enjoy. The visual impact of a carefully constructed grazing table is just stunning! We started out creating them for our own family events, and are so excited that we have been able to turn this passion and hobby into a business! We now offer smaller platters that we create fresh to order and deliver in boxes. This makes what we do more accessible for everyone as it means you don’t need to be having a big event to enjoy grazing with us. If you’re just having a couple of friends round for the evening, or even just want a night off cooking and a treat for yourself, we can do that! We also do limited edition sweet platters available for delivery too, and these can be tailored to include your favourite things. This was the morning after I landed back stateside after my first trip out of the country to Iceland (which quickly became one of my favorite places). I was going through a divorce from my ex-wife and I was hesitant to commit to a new relationship. Friedrich August 1.“der Gerechte“, war zu Napoleons Zeiten die jetzige Talstraße mit seinem Gefolge entlang marschiert, welche lange Zeit dann die Kaiserstraße war, so kam die Kaiserkrone zu ihren Namen. Eine sechsköpfige Frauenmannschaft ist mit vollem Einsatz für ca 73 Gäste da. Hier speist man mit Prominenten (im Rücken), geschnitzt auf Stuhllehnen. Eine Spezialität ist die hausgemachte Sülze mit Bratkartoffeln. Highlights sind die jährlichen Schlachtfeste mit denen man den Winter begrüßt und verabschiedet. TBT: So many great @michaelbuble memories from my Warner Music days. This one is a shout out to one of my great great friends @britgirl61 – the incredible Susan Leon SVP Global Artist & Label Relations. We became firm friends thanks to nearly 10 years working together & it is a friendship I cherish. A real highlight was the many adventures surrounding the one & only Mr Michael Buble. This photo was taken in Michael’s home city of Vancouver – it was freezing and we set up his monster hit album ‘It’s Time’ in 2005. On this junket we travelled with the incredible @cameronadamsoz & @tiffbakker (they were probably recovering somewhere – 😉). On this trip I remember we had @mollymeldrum rollerblade with Michael and we placed a stack helmet on Molly’s famous akubra ! Michael was very generous and invited us to join him at his family home for dinner. We used this trip to set up media around a major tour announcement for @pauldainty who promotes MB and profile the album which of course debuted at #1. Michael & Susan are firm friends and we recently all caught up when @guysebastian was Michael’s special guest at the closing of Sydney’s Allianz Stadium in October 6th, 2018 (Guy performed in teaming rain and then the heaven’s stopped the downpour as soon as Michael came to stage!). It was Susan’s birthday this week so this post is in honour of one of my besties – who, together with our friend Marina have given Maxwell & I so much love & support in LA. We’ve shared so many adventures, have polished off a reasonable supply of alcohol and have a bathroom protocol when in hotels … white towel displays - a little OCD rider trick of mine! Lady Yvonne-Anastasia Sursock Cochrane was more than the advocate of our heritage and our soulful Levantine patrimony, she fought on every front with relentless panache, education, emigration, environnement, craft, art de vivre, coupled with generosity and elegance. She enlightened everyone and transcended everything with the sparkle of her light-hearted smile and the power of her resilient actions. She knew so much and gave us much. She welcomed with pride all our guests from the entire world @sursockpalace as the best ambassador of our traditions and our legendary culture. I feel privileged to have shared with her rare moments of explorations and adventures from Beirut, London, Paris, Bahrein, to the most extraordinary imaginary travels, from the green velvet sofa nested within the glorious triple arcade of her home and the soul of Beirut, where she would have tea and poetry in the afternoon. I was holding my breath like so many Lebanese, hoping to hear about her awakening from the 4 August tragic blast. Not her passing away. She leaves us more heartbroken than ever. Her faith in Lebanon and her legacy make it our duty to rebuild and rise from the ashes. My last visit to her a few months ago was a sunny, poetic, brilliant moment of hope. She incarnated concrete poetry and wrote some of the truest words of today in 1975: « To all the young who lost their lives for Lebanon... @francq__ repost: “freshman year turned 15 a couple of weeks ago. What an amazing gift it is to have been surrounded and assisted by supportive and kind people from the very start of trying to form an identity in the music world. For a long time I have taken this for granted. It would be another decade before I would encounter the industry/business world of music with my bandmates in Hop Along; until then, it was the encouragement and attention of family members, friends, even acquaintances who gave me the equipment to believe that releasing my own music made any sense at all. In my freshman year at MICA I lived with 3 imaginative, funny and brilliant young women, whose presence drove and inspired me. My cousins, who are sisters and strange like me, wrote and visited me and were also fantastic inspiration. That year I wrote more songs than I think I have at any other time in my life. It was just such an exciting shock, to be so far from home and meet so many creative people, at that formative age of 18. In 2005 I “released freshman year on burned white CDRs that I stamped with a linoleum cut image of a silhouetted goose wearing a crown. The stamp was an illegible blob, so I painted onto each CD with a little brush. My cousins helped me cut and glue the sleeves for these CDs, a couple of nights before I had to drive back to Baltimore to start my sophomore year of school. A lot of people have helped me, and continue to do so. The building and terrible rage that surrounds us now is making me comprehend and wonder at all of the generous individuals and communities that I have met. Too many to name here. I will try to correct this. To celebrate this anniversary, freshman year is now streaming on DSPs for the first time ever. Tomorrow, Ill be playing a live mini set on this Insta page, at 6 pm EST/ 3 pm PST. Ive also released an EP of 3 new tracks on Bandcamp; entitled more songs from 2005. All proceeds made from Bandcamp purchases today will go to @dopepeopledoingdopethings - a non-profit that works to assist and strengthen Philadelphia’s communities. Here are a few thoughts (spoilers below): Watching episode 2 was… exhilarating, surreal, devastating. Even though I “know the story,” I still found out new nuggets of what transpired between Mark and Bonnie. I was heartbroken watching what Bonnie went through. All I can say is that we all should be so grateful Bonnie was strong enough to finally trust her gut and leave. Ultimately, it was her choice to act out of love, and to never give Mark an ultimatum. That choice sent a ripple effect throughout the community. Bonnie is my hero. Mark was able to wake up and guide me out and lead with love also. It was wild for me to listen to the conversation he recorded between us where you can literally HEAR my choice point between either throwing Mark under the bus to Lauren, or telling him the truth. #Cliffhanger. I am shocked and saddened by the news of Lynn Sheltons passing. She was an inspiration for female filmmakers. Lynn directed many episodes of GLOW including one of my most challenging. She let me ask questions, take risks, and make mistakes. She made me feel safe and heard and was always clear with what she wanted. I told her how in awe of her I was, she directed with such clarity and kindness. I looked up to Lynn as I’m sure many people who worked with her did. Выход из зоны комфорта или не бойся попробовать что-то новое 🌸 ⠀ Из практики: еще до встречи с клиентом я задаю вопросы о предполагаемой причёске, спрашиваю о волосах, соотношу запрос с исходными данными, анализирую профиль, дабы создать своё впечатление о внешности человека!) ⠀ Уже при личной встрече (или до неё) мы выбираем окончательный вариант прически/укладки, согласно выбранного наряда, аксессуаров, повода и пр. Я всегда об этом спрашиваю так как все детали важны!) ⠀ Очень приятно, когда выслушавшая мои предложения, исходя из особенностей волос, формы лица и просто мой опыт и насмотренность, мы можем вообще выбрать новый вариант укладки/прически и получить стильный красивый образ!) ⠀ Я всегда честно комментирую тот или иной вариант прически, с точки зрения носибельности!) ⠀ Недавно я делала локоны для девушки, на длинные густые волосы, задача - сохранить прическу весь день до вечера, так как именно тогда будет корпоратив в заведении, находящимся на крыше👌 ⠀ Мы сделали шикарные объёмные локоны, с которыми в итоге клиентка проходила несколько дней 🔥 ⠀ Если вы выбираете мастера на основании рекомендаций, вам нравиться его профиль, стиль работы, то не бойтесь примерить на себя новый образ, предложенный им, может вам как раз не хватало профессионального взгляда со стороны😉 - @lokonstudio_vlg on Instagram

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jane. Jane brought a loving, tender touch to the carousel’s restoration and she was able to share its magic with the world. The carousel is lucky to have encountered Jane’s talent and vision in its life. She has brought so much light, joy, and fun to so many families and to all of us that care for the carousel.
