My parents just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary 🥂 They met at my dad’s nightclub, The Club Ancopa, in Atlantic City, NJ in 1979. My mom was a cocktail waitress during her summer off as a teacher. Dad said it was love at first sight 💕 Mom denied his date requests, she wasn’t down to date the boss. After the summer ended she went back to teaching & finally gave in & let him take her out. 6 months later they were engaged, 6 months after that they were married & 8 months later I was born! . It’s incredibly inspiring to see their love & commitment to each other through the years. We all worked together in the trenches of our family owned bar & restaurant. It kept us busy & could be stressful but it kept us close & man did we have fun! Holla in the comments below if you worked with us there too! . I have an anxious brain. I am constantly overthinking, worrying, processing, analyzing, + then worrying some more. Recently, I have been more anxious than usual about taking some big steps in my life. Overthinking, + worrying about the “what if’s.” I talked to my Mom about my fears, and she said “Yes, but, what if it all works out?” Ahhhh. What a novel idea! “What if” can also be a positive!!!! What if it all works out?! What if everything goes how I am dreaming it of going? What if I get everything I’ve ever wanted? What if I have actually taken a massive risk that will actually be a beautiful thing?? We often times forget that the “what if’s” can be joyful too - magical. . This has been the biggest risk of my romantic life that I have ever taken. A leap of faith. “Just knowing.” All of those sayings that we hear growing up definitely have new meaning in my life now. Sometimes people come into our lives, + we can’t explain why or how they got there, but your damn glad they figured out their way in. You, my gorgeous + powerful babe, are that thing that has continued to be the best risk I’ve ever taken. When things get anxious for me, you calm me down. When life seems terrifying, you ease my mind. You never stop putting our team first. You never stop letting me know that you’re here with me no matter what. I am so scared, excited, pumped, stoked, totally anxious, + perfectly glowing about our new adventure together. . Altrimenti ci vuole un po’ più di tempo, ma vi assicuro che ne vale la pena 😍. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PREPARAZIONE ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. Tostate le nocciole; 2. Tritare finemente con un frullatore potente (ho usato il bimby); 3. Continuate a tritare fino ad ottenere una crema, poi utilizzare un passino per ottenere una crema liscia; 4. Sciogliete il cioccolato bianco a bagnomaria e unire 1/2 della pasta di nocciole; 5. Riempite la metà degli stampini e riponete in freezer (il tempo di preparazione dell’altro cioccolato); 6. Nel frattempo, ripetete i passaggi precedenti, col cioccolato ruby.
