A #throwbackthursday from 2005: my first endurance road bike race, the “Furnace Creek 508.” This is a 508 miles (820 kms) race in Southern Paiute and Western Shoshone lands going through Death Valley, northern Mojave Desert and surrounding areas in California-Nevada. 🚴🏾♀️ I rode in a 2-person team (#TeamCoonhound) with Bruce Gungle plus support crew members Sean and Cory.
