Rate this setup 👇🤓🚀 . . Photo by: @danbatedev . . . . I learnt JavaScript (JS) by working with data visualisation libraries. The same development processes that are used to manipulate the Document Object Model (DOM) to interactively display and change large datasets, they are the same processes that are applied by significantly more sophisticated frameworks like React and Vue to build entire applications. And once you start to appreciate the powers that JS provides for DOM manipulation, the easier it will become to understand how to use JS and what you can use it for. Recently I’ve been getting back into data visualisation as I’m implementing a map search to my travel platform project. Uber have a full suite of open source data visualisation frameworks that can be quickly implemented with React to create some really sophisticated geo dashboards, and that’s what I’m hoping to achieve with my map search. I’ll do another post later in the week about unconventional methods to learn JS, as well as Object Orientated Programming. - @programunity on Instagram

🚀 - @sorteiogram on Instagram

Never thought I’d like anything as much as music, but here we are. . It’s great to know one can be a creative AND truly happy at the same time. 6 months into this journey already and looking forward to diving even deeper into the world of tech. Best decision I’ve made in a while ✨ . I’ll be posting more code-related things on here moving forward; as with anything – you have to own it. If you’d like to talk about getting into code yourself, or if you’re interested in creative happiness, get at me. x . Season 2 of THE ART OF DFFRNCE is also on its way; music and code have so much in common – it’ll be an interesting one for sure . Will there be more music? Maybe. Probably. No rush, though. . And for those in the know, yes – I am indeed setting state in render().. it’s a metaphor for continuous evolution. . #code #programming #softwaredeveloper #softwareengineer #react #reactnative #javascript #python #rails #ruby #fullstack #6monthsin #tech #creativity #happiness #creativehappiness - @xamvolo on Instagram
