But why? Some believe that deep cleaning your espresso machine could change the flavor of your shots. (Now, before I go any further I want to explain I’m NOT talking about descaling but cleaning coffee oil and sediment from your espresso machine.) The question really comes down to what do you think taste good and what does your clients love. When you clean an espresso machine you remove settled coffee oils, sediment and coffee debris. All of the above will change your shot flavor and probably most likely add that nostalgic coffee flavor some people love or hate. Now, if you get in a habit of deep cleaning your espresso machine from day 1, your customers are already use to the clean and clear flavor of your espresso. - Pro tip: the distributor on the left is from an 84-86 Ford 4.9 and has been discontinued by FOMOCO. No parts store carries it. The distributor on the right is from an 88-91. Both use the same TFI ICM with the same pin setup. Use the 88-91 if you need a NEW distributor. Works wonderfully in my 85.
