It only left me wishing that we could go back to what we used to be. Love is in the air. But it stinks because its dead Dead love is in the air And I can no longer remember where my lungs used to be because now theyre only but graveyards which hold Every scent of every dead love, every second I ever breathe. At some unkown point my love for you turned into a fear, a fear of loud noises, of rattling cutlery, of broken hearts and broken glasses, of trying to be vulnerable and then messing up Where my whole body convulses every time someone asks me to act the way Im feeling and not the way I want them to see me. It left me afraid of being me Because being me was me being fucked up and hurting whoever is close to me. Murderous tones of pure rage, that only scream of everything Ive done wrong And my mind to tune out from 93.5 FM And onto a hectic screen of static.
