To cushion our fragile glass jars of jam in transit, we use packing peanuts that are made from renewable starch. They are 100% compostable, biodegradable, and in fact are water soluble. They are not styrofoam! You can dispose of them in your green bin or your compost pile. We have always stamped this information on the outside of every shipping box, and I’ve recently added this information to our order confirmation email. Hopefully this will help increase the likelihood of these starch peanuts getting composted and reduce the unnecessarily angry emails yelling at us about shipping styrofoam. Yesterday, I was watching Revolutionary Road, which seemed at first the film that will tell you, get out of that monotonous lifestyle dont live for the sake of just breathing, live like you meant it. dont merely survive, but live, really live. Well, it was. For a moment, it was telling that thing. It was urging you to get the hell out of monotony. Tell me, there are people who understands that theyre not living to their fullest potential. They realize one point or another, that theyre letting life pass them by while theyre just standing there like a bystander feeling hopeless. So one fine day, they decided, Thats It. No more giving up to the monotony. Ill sit in the drivers seat and Ill drive wherever I want to go. I will not give in to autopilot. This is good, isnt it? But tell me, when youre in a shared car in a really crowded area, where people just keep telling you how irrational it is of you to drive like you want. Even when you feel, well no, who cares! Its my life, Ill lead it as I want. The person sitting with you in suddenly convinced by the crowd. What do you do then? Ive seen films where people break the monotony and live like they have always wanted to. But what happens to the people who dont get to? Who comes this close to fulfilling their dreams, and suddenly change of plans, because hey! Too much traffic, they wont let our car go. What happens to the dreamers who have lost their dream in expectations? What happens who the drivers to have lost their cars to the traffic? Do they get a chance of revolution? Or Revolutionary Road just becomes another destinations name that is just stuck nowhere to go. Revolutionary Road tells about those, who tried but couldnt drive their own car because the traffic made them stuck. It might be hard to believe that there are hidden gems left to be found in Macao. Surrounded by concrete buildings or hidden behind banyan trees, in the places you least expect is where you’ll often find one. A classic made modern building, Sir Robert Ho Tung Library, a beautiful colonial building constructed just before 1894. Located in the Historic Centre of Macao, the building was made a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005. There is a nice open courtyard with a fountain where you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. The library is the perfect destination for a slow afternoon or a relaxed weekend.
