In our line of work, we love customers who are as passionate as us when it comes to creating one of a kind furniture for their homes. We recently worked together with a Chennai based client who was an absolute joy working with. Over multiple phone calls, we understood his requirement and apparently it took him one year to finalise what he actually wanted and we were the lucky guys he placed the order with! Swipe and enjoy this beautiful piece which is going to sit in a dining room with a view of the ocean on Chennai’s coast! #bohriali #rivertable #haksons #furniture #details #craftsmanship #resintable #epoxyresin #hardwood #diningtable #india #pune - @bohriali on Instagram

Anyone who has entered the intricately carved, iconic front door of ACES Hallam Lake in the last 30 years has encountered a piece of Eddie Running Wolf. The ACES family is so deeply saddened by Eddie’s passing last week, at the age of 62, due to coronavirus-related complications. We are honored by the mark he left here at ACES over the course of four decades. In 1980, Toklat founder and environmental educator, Stuart Mace, invited Eddie to come the to the mountains and work in the wood shop at Toklat. Over the five years Eddie lived there, Stuart challenged him to become an even better artist. Eddie’s artwork often honored a variety of Native American people and tribes - a nod to his own indigenous heritage. Many of the wood carvings at Toklat and around Hallam Lake were created by Eddie, including the eagle carving that was given as the lifetime achievement award to Tom and Jody Cardamone in 2019. A GoFundMe has been created to assist his family with medical and funeral expenses. https://bit.ly/30Oh02S Eddie, you will be lovingly remembered, and your ACES community will be forever grateful.
