Easter crafts when we don’t have eggs to boil and color because we are #stayinghome. 🥚🥚🥚🥚🥚 We had to get creative with our egg decorations this year and kept it simple with what we had. 🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰 All we needed was some paper, glue, tissue paper and paint! I let the kids go crazy and decorate their eggs however they wanted to! Dnes bych se s Vámi ráda podělila o mém projektu - nové logo. Protože jsem měla dvě varianty v názvu a na produktu, hledala jsem řesení jak logo sjednotit. Oslovila jsem pár grafiků. Tudy pro mě ale cesta nevedla... Nápad vzešel od mé úžasné pomocnice @i_am_karolina a společně jsme vytvořili nový doplněk pro CupiDup 👣 Hned jsem věděla, že to musí být právě nožičky našeho Šimonka, díky kterému vznikly první capáčky a CupiDup. A teď mi zdobí naší značku 🖤 Užili jsme si spolu krásné odpoledne, kdy se podlaha v mém obýváku změnila v malířské plátno 😀 Ale co to logo? Někdy člověk hledá to, co už dávno má. Nechala jsem si svoje prvotní produktové a nyní i firemní logo. Díky šikovnému @the.mitacek máme krásné nové visačky, nálepky na krabice a nové poukázky, a vše konečně ve stejném designu. My LO super enjoyed removing the tape from the back of our foam shape stickers even though I did mention that it wasn’t needed since the wall is sticky and they will stick just fine. But, she insisted 😄😍 and the wonderful thing about that is that she was practicing fine motor skills while learning through play! . . SALT DOUGH NAME Bobby will be starting preschool in January so I thought we would start exploring some name recognition activities! Please inspire me and tag me in your name recognition posts! We made this salt dough name together and he’s super proud of it! Thank you for the idea @playwithmillie @creative.kids.play It’s a bit rough around the edges but it was handmade with love! 🌈 -——————————————————— INGREDIENTS: 🌈 1 cup of plain flour 🌈 1/2 a cup of salt 🌈 1/2 a cup of water —————————————————— STEP BY STEP: 💡 Mix together the flour and the salt. 💡 Gradually add in the water. Once it forms a dough- don’t add any more! 💡 I pressed the dough into a tray to get the rectangular shape (use baking paper....I was a wally and I couldn’t get it out very easily!!) 🤣 💡 I then used our @curious_columbus letters and pushed B o b b y into the dough to make the name imprint. 💡 Bake in the oven on the lowest setting for 3/4 hours. Santo Stefano, Castiglion Fiorentino, Tuscany, Italy - Toy Stories is an ongoing project, wherever I go I take portraits of children with their favorite toys. I spent more than two years traveling the world (2012-2014), visiting more than 50 countries and creating 80% of this project. I recorded the spontaneous and natural joy that unites kids despite their diverse backgrounds. 📚 where is the green sheep? 📚 ⠀ ⠀ Another impromptu play experience this morning. This book was in the pile that we read this morning and his reaction when he saw it was what made me set this up “YAY, where is the green sheep, I love this book!” ⠀ ⠀ This was such an easy setup - ⠀ ⠀ • I simply printed out some blank sheep clip art templates and we coloured them in together. ⠀ • I asked him what sensory base he wanted and he chose this coconut “grass” (simply food colouring mixed in a bag of shredded coconut we’ve had for AGES!) ⠀ • We laminated the sheep so we can reuse them.⠀ • I quickly drew the checklist so he could see what was still left to find.⠀ • At the last minute I decided to write and cut out the colour names for him to find too. ⠀ ⠀ Today he used a paintbrush to swish the coconut around in order to locate the sheep and colour names. ⠀ ⠀ After he found them all, he started drawing letters in the coconut. I grabbed the word ‘red’ and asked if he could copy it - which he did! I demonstrated how he could trace the letter on the tag first, then try in the coconut. ⠀ ⠀ Thomas is really enjoying these hide and seek style activities at the moment! He then hid the sheep all around the house for me to find ☺️⠀ ⠀ Can you believe I found this hardcover copy of the story for 20c in the local op shop?!? Chameleon Patterns My daughter and I have been reading The Mixed-up Chameleon by Eric Carle everyday this week so I inspired to make this chameleon pattern activity for her! I actually started drawing the same chameleon as in the book but she insisted I draw a chameleon she had found a picture of instead so I went with it 😄. I cut out five popsicle sticks from the middle of the chameleon so she could re-create the patterns I had drawn on the cards by inserting the lolly sticks in the correct order each time.
