Here is a fun-fact, the Cliffs of Moher is the most visited tourist spot of Ireland. Over 1.7 million people visit this natural haven yearly and there are so many day tours that allow you to see and walk over these 300 year old cliffs.Rich in wildlife and a scenery walk with the wild Atlantic winds, blowing strongly past you. It costs €25 per car return or €8 per person return (with no car) You can see their timetable on their website. We left Castletownbere at 11.30am and arrived at Bere Island just before 12, ready to start our amazing adventure. To mark the 90th anniversary of the evacuation, their stories are told in a new book by Elisabeth and David Gifford. Day 2 of our adventure with Fáilte Ireland and @discoverireland.ie After we finished our beautiful breakfast at Bere Island Lodge, we drove aboard Murphys car Ferry and left Rerrin and headed to Pontoon. From there we drove to Dursey. When we arrived at Dursey we took Irelands only Cable car to Dursey Island. It was an exciting experience with beautiful views from up high in the Cable Car. (Check out our Dursey Island highlights for details and videos) On Dursey Island we explored the beautiful Island enjoying the amazing views of the mainland and the Atlantic, we then sat and had a lovely picnic made by Edel at Bere Lodge. We then returned to the mainland by cable car and headed straight for Murphys mobile dining for an Al Fresco lunch followed by Icecreams. After that we took a scenic drive to Glengarriff via Lauragh and the Healy Pass. The views were like something out of a film. 😍 After a long day of exciting adventures we soon arrived at The Botanicals B&B, we were greeted by a beautiful driveway up to the gorgeous house which is surrounded by a Willy Wonka style edible garden. Adam gave us a great tour of their garden of Re-imagination. We really enjoyed the tour and tasting all the edible Flowers. The next morning Kloe made us a spectacular breakfast using ingredients from her garden. Then she brought the girls out to collect eggs from their chickens. (The girls loved this) To some up our stay in one word would be Magical. @twogreenshoots We finished Day 2 with the nicest pizza ever from @manningemporium If you are ever passing then stop in for the pizza, you wont regret it. 😍 On our way home after two full days of action packed adventures we called in @ewexperience and no wonder it was voted No.1 garden in Ireland. The attention to detail and imagination was out of this world. It is perfect for kids, something exciting around every corner.
