He originally crossed the finish line in 6th position confirming himself as the top runner in OK. • Rafa got involved in a “big one” and this forced him to quit the race. 🏁 Rd. 3 Final • Rafa struggled a bit with the pace in the second part of the race after an encouraging start. Day to day, heart weeping in silence as I put on a brave front in front of people. Been 6 months since my last flight, & the agony is ineffable. To be those men, with their aviator sunglasses & roaring into the skies. That’s all I dreamt of since a tender age without even thinking or consideration for any remunerations or so-called glamour/status as I crafted my life towards this goal with “blood, sweat & tears”. The only moment which got me thinking of doing anything else was during NS when my CO & RSM coerced & recommended me to sign on the Army after an excellent record in NS with the thought of becoming a Pilot was nearing impossible. But perseverance & risks prevailed. We are Professionals.. It’s not just a job/work or even something that most of us decided to try or decide on doing when we are in our late teens or branching into adulthood, but our very own embodiment. The one consistent dream in our lives since we were kids.. When we embark and pledge ourselves to this path, the horizon for us is only retirement.. It’s not just a career journey where you think of mid-career change options.. It’s our life... my life.. Our very dreams and blood... rich in our veins. Well, for most of us anyway... To anyone who knows an Aviator, be patient & informed that with the dark days now & ahead , their mental, emotional & psychological state aren’t what they portray it to be as they are crumbling inside whilst putting a brave front for their loved ones & children. WHHHOOOPPPAAA!!! 😊🤩😁 P6 at the European Championship Round 2 in Genk, Belgium! 🤩🤩 Of course we want to be higher in top rankings but so far I’m happy and confident in our reached result. It have been exactly 1 year ago that I have been driving my last race in the KZ category. From the first day I really have enjoyed the moment to be back in my KZ kart. From the beginning we had difficult weather circumstances with rain and dry conditions which didnt make easy to find a good setup for the dry... After every session and heats, we were able to improve and to learn more and more about our package of chassis, engine and tyres. In the final, we had good speed and we did the 2nd fastest lap overall! 😁 Unfortunately from the middle of the race we started losing speed... we had a small techincal problem but also I had fire in my arms as I didnt race since long time in this fantastic category! Time to work on it! 😍😍 I would like to thanks my mechanic Roberto for his effort and work to put down a good setup and Franco, Filippo, Daniele for the top rockets of TM racing engines! 🤩😁💪 Hereby I would also like to thanks SODIKART, TM RACING ENGINES, my family, friends, sponsors, partners, fans and supporters for the great help and support I have received! 😍😍😍 Also I would like to thanks Paul, Nicole, team CPB for the hospitality during the week! Since the beginning of the weekend, it has been a very challenging event for us. Friday night, we had some demanding conditions, then on Saturday morning we had to retire with the steering issue. Today, we had to drive through the first three stages with a target of getting something from the Power Stage. I didn’t really have the full commitment to go flat out, somehow it was only at 90%, but we made it through and got four extra points which is much better than nothing. Our focus is now on Sardinia and we know that we have to do our best over there as the fight for the championship is really tight. This weekend was @rokcupusa Rok the Rio in Las Vegas. It’s amazing what progression I have made in 1 year since this event last year. Last year it was difficult to be inside the top 30 and crashed in almost every heat. This year I had good pace in practice but when qualifying came we had issues. I qualified 35 out of 46 drivers. In heat 1 I finished 38. In heat 2 I finished 21 moving up 17 positions. In heat 3 I dropped to 28 after having 2 flat tires. Heat 4 was my best heat so far. In a race cut short due to lack of light, I managed to move from 28 to 18, my best result of the weekend. After all the heats we started the final in 23. After a long 25 lap race, I ended up finishing 17, only 0.002 seconds behind 16th. Per come si erano messe le cose durante i turni di prove libere posso dire di essere soddisfatto del weekend a La Conca. Dopo 3 uscite ed una qualifica abbastanza deludente ( 17°) in prefinale con unottima partenza sono riuscito a recuperare tre posizioni e arrivare in 14^ posizione. Nella finale la partenza è stata anche lì geniale se non fosse per il fatto di essere scattato con qualche centesimo di secondo in anticipo che è bastato per darmi 10 sec. Di penalità . Allarrivo sono arrivato in 12^ posizione assoluta ( 9^ di categoria ) ma con la penalità in 15^posizione assoluta ( 10^ di categoria) sono riuscito a prendere un solo punto e sono stracarico per la gara di martina franca il 6/7 Aprile. SuperFormula第2戦岡山大会 予選2位 決勝9位でした。 代替選手として参戦する事になり、沢山の不安がありました。しかし、練習から少しずつ手応えを感じる事が出来ました。 予選では、Q1,Q2でトップタイムを出し、Q3はセットアップ、走らせ方で判断ミスをしてしまい、ポールポジションを獲得出来ませんでした。 決勝は、ロングラン、ハンドクラッチでのスタート、ピットストップ、様々な事が初めてでした。その中で出来る限り一所懸命走りましたが、ピットストップのタイミング等で順位を落としました。 しかし、決勝も沢山の事を得る事ができました。 今回この機会を与えて下さった関係者皆様には、とても感謝してます。 ここまで順調に行くとは、全く想像してませんでしたし、素晴らしい車を仕上げてくれたチームにも感謝してます。 今週末も応援ありがとうございました！ 物凄く楽しかった。また乗りたい。その為にももっと頑張ろう。 #superformula #japan #motorsport #okayama #teamtoms #likes #応援ありがとうございました - @ritomomiyata on Instagram

Final round of the CIK FIA European Championship was not how we wanted it to end. Missing out on a 2 day test and having technical issues didn’t help my qualifying where I was 41st. I worked hard in the heats but one poor heat put my starting position much further back for the final. I was determined for a good result. I started 29th and made one of my best starts gaining 15 positions in two laps. However on lap 4 an engine issue forced me to retire. We now have a quick turnaround for round 2 and 3 for the @wsk_promotion Euro Series. Ich nehme gerne spezielle „Feier“-Tage wie z. Bsp. Den Tag der Pflege als Anlass, Organisationen zu ehren, mit denen wir als Polizei zu tun haben. Zum Tag des Hubschraubers war für mich klar, dass dies der Moment für einen Beitrag über die @rega_offiziell wird. Am Freitag, 14. August, konnte ich spontan und sehr unkompliziert die Rega Basis Basel besuchen. Während der Anfahrt flog der Helikopter zu einem Einsatz ab. Zu meinem Glück dauerte dieser nicht sehr lange und ich konnte dafür die Landung mitverfolgen. Den Helikopter aus der Nähe zu sehen war eine eindrückliche Erfahrung. Während meiner Polizeizeit ist es noch zu keinen gemeinsamen Einsätzen gekommen. Allerdings war dies nicht meine erste Begegnung mit der Rega. Deshalb gebührt den Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern der Rega auch aus sehr persönlichen Gründen ein grosses Danke für ihren Einsatz. Zu guter Letzt ist mir doch tatsächlich ein Lapsus beim Recherchieren des Datums passiert und ich habe den eigentlichen Tag des Hubschraubers verpasst. Many friends and rivals ask me what I like more: karting or Formula 4? I like karting so much, but my answer is F4. This is a big car with higher speeds and more work with setups. There are also basic elements of aerodynamics and slipstream. The races take place on the famous circuits.
