Мы посетили этот невероятный особняк уже два года назад, но я снова к нему возвращаюсь - так как наконец-то удалось найти о нём чуть больше информации! (да, это довольно долгое занятие - искать инфу о заброшках, ведь не просто так они заброшки 😉🙌🏻) (🇬🇧 in comments) ⠀ Из архивных документов деревни, где находится особняк, мне удалось выяснить, что он был построен в самом конце 19го века успешным торговцем, которому на пенсии захотелось деревенских тишины и покоя. Но сначала появилась только одна часть будущего замка - та самая часть «под террасой», когда-то бывшая обычным домом квадратной формы на три этажа. ⠀ Позже, в 1913м году, дом приобрел в собственность парижский предприниматель, скупивший в округе за последующие 10 лет ещё порядка 17 домов. Но именно этот дом стал его самым грандиозным проектом. ⠀ Предприниматель «достроил» особняк, приделав к нему ту самую красивую часть с башенкой, и уже тогда дом получил привычный нам вид. ⠀ После он ещё несколько раз менял хозяев, совершенствовавших его с каждым разом всё больше и больше. ⠀ В частности, есть предположение, что мозайка с бабочками на стене в одной из ванных комнат появились там в честь очередной хозяйки по фамилии «Папийон», что переводится как «бабочка». ⠀ В 70х годах особняк выкупил иностранец, заново отремонтировавший и восстановивший нуждавшиеся в этом части, и прожил тут около 3х лет. ⠀ А после - по непонятным причинам покинувший Францию. ⠀ Говорят, после его отъезда наполненный вещами дом несколько лет верно ждал своего владельца. Но воры и вандалы раньше времени поставили на его возвращении крест: особняк вскрыли, и с тех пор на протяжении многих лет продолжали растаскивать его содержимое. Да так, что остались только голые стены да никому ненужный хлам - камины, плитку, пол и даже выключатели поснимали и повыдергивали. Like clockwork, each morning at 7AM the entire town of Aberhosan in Wales would lose its broadband connection. The mystery plagued the village for 18 months — and nobody knew why. Until now. The culprit? An old television set. After numerous cable replacements failed to fix the issue, an investigation discovered that an unnamed Aberhosan resident was unaware their TV would emit a signal that would interfere with the entire village’s broadband infrastructure, BBC reports. Baffled by the continuous lapses in connectivity, the technicians used a monitoring device — also known as a spectrum analyzer — to identify the source of the interference. The device led them to the resident in question, who felt embarrassed for unknowingly causing trouble and immediately promised to never use the set again. So why 7AM, you might be wondering? Well, that’s when the anonymous householder would switch their TV on each morning, inadvertently affecting the entire village’s broadband.
