Тульский чугун знают и ценят во всём мире! ⠀ История предприятия восходит ко времени, когда все в стране стремилось бить рекорды. ⠀ Летом 1931 года началось строительство завода и рабочего поселка под Тулой. Вскоре стройка была объявлена «ударной», и уже через четыре года, 15 июня 1935 года была запущена первая доменная печь, ещё через год — доменная печь № 2. ⠀ Осенью 1941 года, вскоре после начала Великой Отечественной Войны, завод был остановлен и эвакуирован в Нижний Тагил и Магнитогорск. Но производство в Туле было восстановлено уже в 1944-м. ⠀ Сегодня «Тулачермет» (входит в ПМХ), один из крупнейших в мире поставщиков товарного чугуна, за все время работы предприятие выплавило свыше 130 млн тонн чугуна. ⠀ Тулачермет является одним из крупнейших предприятий не только Тульской области, но и всей отечественной металлургии. Ежегодно завод выпускает свыше 2 млн тонн высококачественного чугуна. В преддверии юбилея предприятие поставило несколько производственных рекордов. В июне 2020 г. впервые за время работы двумя печами Тулачермет выплавил свыше 8 тыс. тонн чугуна за сутки. Также в июне предприятие поставило месячный рекорд, выплавив 234 тыс. тонн чугуна. ⠀ Я уж не знаю, стоило ли бить производственные рекорды в наши дни, но работают здесь люди, которые не могут без этого.
