It was a day when I saw Amur leopard for my first time. Beautiful October, silent forest, checking camera traps during our first expedition to the northern part of Leopard Land NP... I was out of humor, a bit tired, deep in my thoughts when ranger cried: Leopard, leopard, look! It was in about 100 meters of us, running away to the pines grove. I thought it was a ghost till the moment we got camera trap records with us and the leopard with time difference of 5 minutes.
