It was a day when I saw Amur leopard for my first time. Beautiful October, silent forest, checking camera traps during our first expedition to the northern part of Leopard Land NP... I was out of humor, a bit tired, deep in my thoughts when ranger cried: Leopard, leopard, look! It was in about 100 meters of us, running away to the pines grove. The Peanut Butter Falcon Had 2 completely separate friends recommend this film to me in the same weekend at the start of the month and I’ve only just got round to watching it. It is nothing like I was expecting, the Netflix clip preview does not do it justice at all. It’s a really random but such a sweet film not really like anything I’ve seen before. Yes it’s a runaway story and surrogate brother story but not like anything I’ve seen before. Definitely has mark twain and of mice and men themes but told totally differently. it’s really refreshing to have something original in this world of remakes and sequels. It has been a good script with memorable lines. And the cast is really good. Lead by Shia LaBeouf who is really good in this. But the person who steals the show is the lead actor Zack Gottsagen in his first big screen performance, the actor has downs in real life not just an actor acting downs like in so many movies previous, and he plays the role really well. Dakota Johnson is also good but feel like her character could have more to it, they hint at a back story but don’t really talk about it. Also Bruce Dern is hilarious in this and Thomas Haden Church is quite funny. Also an actor that I really like and love seeing him on screen, Jon Bernthal is in it but I did have to google it to check it was him as he is only in the briefest flashes which is a shame. So If you’re after a sweet, happy and amusing film give this a go.
