Mein #mylamelloproject ist fertig! Eine Werkzeugwand und French-Cleat alternative realisiert mit den Lamello Cabineo verbindern. Ziel war es eine schöne und schlichte Werkszeugwand zu bauen. Wichtig war dabei auch, dass man diese nach bedarf erweitern und umorganisieren kann. Als ich den Cabineo gesehen habe, war mir klar, damit wird es perfekt funktionieren. Und so war es dann auch! Besonderes Highlight ist, dass die Verbinder auf der Untersteite eingesetzt und somit unsichtbar sind. Ein echter Hingucker in der Werkstatt. Ich markiere @tom_tuhl der, genau wie ich, für dieses Projekt brennt und mich mit Beratung und Kritik wunderbar unterstützt hat. Vielen Dank Tom! Die ist also mein offizieller Beitrag zur Challenge. 🔻Fix your Winging Scapula🔻 The Serratus Anterior is a crucial muscle when it comes to optimal shoulder health and performance. However, for various reasons, this muscle can become dysfunctional, meaning it does not contract properly. The primary purpose of the serratus anterior is to protract the scapula (pull your shoulder blades forward) and keep your shoulder blade against your rib cage during shoulder movement. This gives the shoulder a more stable base to work from. Dysfunction in this muscle can lead to a ton shoulder and neck issues. So I’m giving you several exercises to target the serratus anterior to get it working correctly. In an interview, Christian Boltanski was asked the question: You have previously said that you wish your work to be like a candle which can be extinguished at any moment. Are you pushing this to aim far with your shadow pictures? Boltanski responded I connect a lot to the shadows. Initially it reminds one of the dead, one talks of the realm of shades. It also however lends a direct connection to photography; in Greek this means to write with light. A shadow is therefore a primary photograph. Shadow is also deceptive; as we say, one hides the prize under the shadow. The shadow is a trick, just like the small paper figure, which appears as a great lion; [...] shadows interest me in this way, because they are theatre, in its artistic sense. I wanted to make a kind of dance of death with the shadows. The small figures I made are often skeletons, but cute, small skeletons; it is also a dance of death for children. I then like the ephemerality of shadow; the shadows can disappear in a moment. As soon as the light or candles fade, there is nothing left. The shadow is fragile, it is not tangible. 🎃lyric vid out tmrw🎃 soooo for the past couple weeks @squids.ink and i have been working relentlessly on a video for “ghosts” i had the idea of doing a shadow puppet lyric vid he was like “yes YES” so we got very excited and then i storyboarded and he made all the ideas better and more possible and then on like...hour 6 of cutting out letters we were like “holy fucking shit. this is a lot!!!!” we took our time with it though, and im very VERY thrilled to share with you the spooktacular video we made. im in constant awe of simon and his brain and skills and he really designed the ever loving heck out of this thing. also the whole process made me weirdly nostalgic for theater *sigh* okay sweet friend, until tomorrow! drink water, eat ur fave snack, write down 5 things u love about yerself (or if yer in a notsonice headspace, maybe 5 things yer grateful for). i love you. and to those observing yom kippur, may you have a restorative, reflective next 24 hours. spook ya later alligator 🐊 !!! - @itsellenwinter on Instagram

Pandemic pastime... making movies with Micah! ❤️❤️❤️ He asked the other day if I thought our movies would be in theaters and millions of people would see them and I said, “well, buddy... I’ve just got a cell phone and a green screen to work with. We don’t have a budget or a crew or equipment or ya know- all the stuff you need to make big movies...” and he says, “well- we could give it a shot!” The kid’s got dreams- that’s for sure. We made a 9 minute short film for my dad’s 70th birthday last month using the green screen to place family members from three different states into the scenes together! Antes de la pandemia nunca había escuchado la palabra calistenia. Ahora gracias a internet puedo decir que es un sistema de ejercicios físicos con el propio peso corporal, pero para mí es mucho más que eso. En mi intento de seguir haciendo ejercicio durante el aislamiento como muchas personas busqué “ejercicios en casa” y como Google no siempre nos muestra lo que buscamos, me mostró a un grupo de personas en un parque con unas barras haciendo un montón de cosas que nunca había visto y sobre todo cargando y controlando su peso con los manos sostenidas de la barra, eso fue lo que me llamó más la atención, además de lo firme y desarrollados que estaban sus cuerpos. Para esto, tengo un saco de box en mi cuarto que tenia un soporte del cual, apenas terminé de ver el primer video no dudé en colgarme y durar menos de tres segundos aguantando mi propio peso. Ahí me acordé de que cuando era chiquita jamás pude completar el pasamanos en los juegos, nunca pasaba del segundo tubo. Comencé a ver muchos más videos e informarme mucho más de que iba este deporte. Empecé con lo más sencillo: planchas y parada de manos asistidas con una pared algo que por miedo nunca había hecho y que a mi primita de 6 años le sale increíblemente bien, incluso me dio varios consejos que la verdad me ayudaron un montón para poder lograrlo. Luego de eso decidí comprarme una barra 2 en 1 que realmente ha sido la mejor compra de este tiempo, en la puedo también colgar mi saco jeje. Luego de dos meses teniendo la barra me salió mi primera dominada y fui demasiado feliz con este pequeño logro. ¡Me falta mucho por aprender, pero estos pequeños avances de lograr cosas que no había podido hacer antes y menos me imaginaba hacer ahora me motiva mucho! Since most of us have access to limited equipment we figured this would be relevant. It should be noted that just because we don’t have access to a barbell or heavy weights, doesn’t mean we compromise our principles and stop training towards our goals. Now is the time to continue to chase the same adaptations, but by different means. Manipulating things like tempo, joint angles, relative body position, and exercise pairings are only some of the ways we can make minimal equipment exercises just as effective as traditional training methods! . With that being said, here are 5 exercises I’ve been using as part of my training and clients’ programming! . 1. Banded facepull to oh raise 2. Single leg band RDL 3. Spanish squat iso hold 4. Quadruped upper body complex 5. UCV db raise (for the chest gains!) . Equipment may change. But training principles should not. Isometrics for tendon health, unilateral training, upper back/shoulder stability are all things that I would normally include in a regular program... so why not now? . Lock, who teaches Modern, Ballet, Improvisation, and Choreography here at Kennesaw State University.⠀ ⠀ As a solo artist, Lisa has performed her critically-acclaimed choreography internationally, as well as all over the U.S. Choreography for companies include La Danserie in Los Angeles, Georgia Ballet, and Full Radius Dance in Atlanta, Cleveland Opera, Verb Ballets, Ohio Dance Theater, Dancing Wheels, and the former Cleveland Dance Theater in Ohio.⠀ Lisa comes with many years of teaching experience both in the University System and the private studio setting. Recent festivals and intensive workshop teaching include Complexion Contemporary Ballet, the International Ballet Intensive, KSU Dance Fest, and Summer Intensive.⠀ ⠀ Lisa K. Locks Interchange performance activates several ZMA spaces!
