One of my all time favorite preemie stories. 🥺🙌🏼❤️ I was born in Nov 1975 at 27 weeks, weighing 1 lb 12 oz. My odds of survival were 4% and I was among the smallest surviving babies born in the city of Los Angeles, CA up to that time and for many years afterwards! I was in NICU at USC Medical Center for 13 weeks. I am now 44 years old and the only condition of my prematurity is a bi-lateral moderate-to severe sensorineural hearing loss. I also have been quite underweight my whole life, but I dont think my weight issue has ever been clinically-proven to be a result of my prematurity, though I tend to believe it is! Im thriving and life is a beautiful blessing every day! To all parents of my fellow struggling warrior preemies: I read your struggles and I take all your issues into my own heart! ,I wish you all the greatest measure of love and laughter, health and happiness, beauty and blessings, peace and prosperity!!!
