4 years ago...the video at the end. 😭💫 My sweet newborn boy River, that moment they put you on my chest. When I looked up and saw the people I love most, looking down at us with beaming smiles. Goldie gave you a stuffed kitty cat and said “he’s mine. My baby bruddy”. It was heaven on earth. I had that minor bleed with you at 9 weeks so in the back of my mind, the entire pregnancy....there was a chance I could lose you. And there you were, sweet chubby healthy rolls, black hair, a furry back and the biggest hands. I have never shared these photos or my birth story with River here yet but I wrote a blog post about the entire experience just days after and never set it live. I’m going to finish it and would love to share with you. Birth puts you in a beautiful magical realm where time stands still. I can’t believe I get to do this again soon. Die Jungs streiten sich darüber, wer die Kleine länger halten darf und Alinchen tut so, als wäre es nie anders gewesen 😅 Sie hilft fleißig beim wickeln, umziehen und will sie immer „behandeln“ 👩🏻⚕️ Vor Eifersucht war hier Gottseidank nicht mal 1 Sekunde die Rede ❤️ ⠀ Mir geht es auch super 🙏🏼 Ich bin allerdings sehr froh, dass ich mich doch für 3 Tage Krankenhausaufenthalt und nicht für eine ambulante Geburt entschieden habe. Denn nun ist mein Wochenbett leider, wie erwartet, so gut wie vorbei 😑(nicht nachmachen bitte 😒) Ich versuche zwar zwei Gänge zurückzuschalten und mich immer wieder zu erholen. Aber so richtig klappen tut das nicht 🙈 So ist das Leben in einer Großfamilie 🤪 Aber ich beschwere mich nicht. Moeder worden… het is mijn (Loulou) levenslange verlangen, maar het was Isabella’s zwangerschap die mijn vuurtje aanwakkerde om mij te verdiepen in de wonderlijke wereld van het moederschap. Ik wist al het één en ander van Ayurveda, en dat het een hele afdeling heeft rondom zwangerschap en postnatale zorg van 42 dagen. Ook had ik al een algemene driedaagse cursus gevolgd over Ayurvedische voeding. ⠀ ⠀ Om mijn zus op de best mogelijke manier te ondersteunen in haar zwangerschap en post-natale periode, volgde ik een cursus over Ayurvedische geboorte en post-natale zorg. Ik was eigelijk nog meer geïntrigeerd door de eeuwenoude gezondheidsleer en besloot de volledige 4jarige opleiding te volgen, met in mijn achterhoofd altijd de persoonlijke interesse voor het moederschap. ⠀ ⠀ Hoe meer ik mij in dit onderwerp verdiep, hoe meer ik de waarde inzie van een goede voorbereiding. Het fundament van de gezondheid van je kindje begint namelijk al vóór de conceptie. Ook de fysieke, emotionele en mentale gesteldheid van de moeder tijdens de zwangerschap heeft invloed op het welzijn van het nieuwe leven, maar ook op het herstel van de pasgeboren moeder. ⠀ ⠀ Mijn opgedane kennis heb ik gebundeld met @isabellamachine haar ervaringen als plant based mom, en de orthomoleculaire wetenschap die therapeut Sharon Asscher van @voedingmaaktjebeter deelt in een instagram cursus: Glow Mama - plantaardige voeding en Ayurveda bij pre-conceptie, zwangerschap en 42 dagen herstel. Deze cursus die 19 oktober van start gaat, heb ik niet alleen voor mezelf gemaakt (Ik zit voorlopig nog in de pre-conceptie fase :P ) maar ook voor andere vrouwen met een kinderwens, mama’s die zwanger zijn, of mama’s die pas een kindje hebben gehad. Ik gun jou deze kennis om ondersteund met de juiste voeding, leefstijl richtlijnen en selfcare je baby, maar ook vooral jezelf een vitale start te geven. ⠀ ⠀ Wil je hier meer over leren?
