Тех, кто проявил мужество и героизм, обеспечив счастливую и мирную жизнь будущим поколениям. ⠀ Большая часть моей семьи родом из Луганской области (в годы ВОВ – Ворошиловградской области) Украины, которая в годы войны пережила не только мобилизацию, но и оккупацию, голод и тотальное разрушение. Поэтому, война прямо и непосредственно коснулась практически всех моих родственников, живших в ту тяжелую пору. ⠀ Мой прапрадед, Калашник Матвей Иванович (2-е фото), был призван на фронт уже взрослым, 35-летним мужчиной, дома у него остались жена и семеро детей. Он успел и повоевать, прошел плен и концлагерь. Был награждён орденом Отечественной Войны II степени, медалями. Прожил длинную и достойную жизнь, был трудолюбивым и уважаемым человеком. Когда-нибудь, я назову своего сына в его честь. ⠀ Родной брат моего прадеда, Владимир Афанасьевич Маслак (3-е фото) родился 20 июля 1922 года и уже в 19 лет, в 1941 был призван на фронт из украинского села Меловатка. Воевал с 1941 по 1945 годы, служил связистом. Прошел всю войну, сражался на территории будующих Украины, Молдавии, Югославии. День Победы встретил в звании старшего сержанта. Был награжден орденом Красной Звезды, медалями, в т.ч. «За освобождение Белграда». ⠀ Мои прадедушка и прабабушка Пётр Кондратьевич и Анна Матвеевна Сучковы (4-е фото) подростками были угнаны на тяжёлые работы (по сути — в рабство) в Германию в 1942 году. Ей было 14, ему — 17. Прадед в итоге попал в концлагерь, выжил и добрался домой лишь чудом. Прабабушка воспитала достойных детей, внуков и правнуков, до самой глубокой старости помнила многое из «военного» периода своей жизни, но как и прадед, рассказывать о войне не любила. ⠀ В концлагерь попал и мой прадедушка Василий Афанасьевич Маслак (5-е фото), их вместе с братом угнали в Германию прямо с пастбища близ родного села. ⠀ Мирного вам неба над головой всем живущим и пусть никогда больше в нашей жизни не будет места войне! - @ingvarforever on Instagram

Тему этого поста мне подсказала Маша @maria_ivakova . Она недавно спросила у меня: «Как быть актёром и при этом не сойти с ума?» ⠀ Я стал вспоминать начало своей карьеры. Тогда я верил, что мне надо самому, по полной, прожить то, что проживает мой персонаж и только так я смогу быть достоверным. Я совсем забыл, что это актерская ИГРА. А в процессе игры всегда есть элемент детства и безответственности. Создавая образ можно быть открытым, ироничным, наивным, даже в самых «серьёзных» ролях, а не галлюцинировать и сходить с ума. Тем более, как сказал один из великих, «спектакль происходит в зале». 🎭 ⠀ Для меня в своё время подход «я прочувствую все страдания героя» имел неприятные последствия. Репетируя «Горбунова и Горчакова» я забывал снимать пальто роли после выхода с репетиции. И вся моя жизнь превращалась в сумасшедший дом: страдал я, страдали близкие, страдали партнёры, но, самое главное, качество роли от этого тоже страдало. Кому-то такой путь близок до сих пор, но мне – нет. Сейчас мне гораздо важнее соблюдать баланс. Поэтому я вкладываюсь на репетиции, а потом стараюсь отдохнуть, выключиться, и дать каким-то внутренним процессам в голове самим произойти. Да, в актёрской игре очень важно вовремя быть ответственным, быть включённым. Но при этом нужно помнить, что это самая несерьёзная профессия на свете. Такое понимание пришло ко мне только с опытом, причём не с самым приятным. Надеюсь, что у кого-то этот процесс пройдёт быстрее и легче.🌿 ⠀ Я замечаю, что лучшие свои работы я делаю из состояния игры, лёгкости. Как ни странно, одним из главных условий существования на сцене является своего рода «безответственность». Поэтому даже в самые тёмные эмоции персонажа я захожу с детским интересом и с «фигой в кармане». Персонаж может страдать, сходить с ума. Моя задача нырнуть в эти обстоятельства, а потом вынырнуть в свою жизнь. Как только уходит элемент игры, возникает слишком серьёзное отношение. Я начинаю путать, где моя жизнь, а где персонажа. Pytacie co sądzę o Piątce dla Zwierząt, a zatem oczywiście popieram ten projekt, ale wymaga on pójścia jeszcze dalej!✌🏻🐑 To dobry punkt wyjścia i wierzchołek góry lodowej szerszego tematu hodowli zwierząt, który pilnie wymaga regulacji.🏔🐖🐄🐓✍🏻 W związku z trwającą dyskusją i challengami chciałbym zadeklarować, że zawsze popierałem, popieram i będę popierał wszelkie rozwiązania, które chronią zwierzęta.🐶🦊🐵 Nie inaczej jest z Piątką dla Zwierząt. Cieszę się z tej propozycji, w szczególności całym sercem popieram: 👉 zakończenie hodowli zwierząt futerkowych 👉 ograniczenie uboju rytualnego 👉 zakaz wykorzystywania zwierząt w cyrkach 👉 regulację tego, jakie podmioty mogą prowadzić schroniska 👉 zakończenie trzymania zwierząt na łańcuchach Co więcej - uważam, że zaproponowane rozwiązania powinny iść jeszcze dalej. Chciałbym, żeby zakaz hodowli objął także króliki, a trzymanie psów na łańcuchach nie było dozwolone tymczasowo, ponieważ może być nadużywane. Przy okazji tej ustawy warto zastanowić się także nad wprowadzeniem regulacji dotyczących ogrodów zoologicznych, tak żeby mieszkające w nich zwierzęta żyły w jak najbardziej humanitarnych warunkach! Mam nadzieję, że jak najwięcej moich koleżanek i kolegów z ław poselskich zagłosuje za dobrem psów, kotów, łowiec, tygrysów i innych stworzeń mniejszych i większych, które wspólnie z nami mieszkają na świecie! Co nie zmienia faktu, że trzeba apelować do rządzących o pilną regulację sprawy hodowli przemysłowych, których działalność niszczy krajobraz i życie wielu ludzi w Polsce. To jest wielki problem, z którym musimy się zmierzyć i wymagać by wszystkie szczeble państwa zaczęły działać w szerszej skali na rzecz ochrony przyrody, klimatu i naszego zdrowia. Irish property developer Ballymore has picked up a landmark gig in Dublin, to transform the St James’s Gate Guinness brewery site into a “visionary neighbourhood for living, entrepreneurship, creativity and commerce.” Drinks giant Diageo, which owns Guinness, has named Sean Mulryan’s Ballymore as its development partner for the major project after a three-year selection process. Other candidates included Harcourt, Oxley, Hines, Quintain and U&I. The ambition is turn the historic 12.6 acre site on the banks of the Liffey into “a standard bearer for the city’s future, as Dublin’s first zero carbon district”, called Guinness Quarter. “Together we plan to transform the iconic site into one of the most dynamic mixed-use urban quarters in Europe,” declares Diageo. The St James’s Gate brewery has been the home of Guinness since 1759. It was once known as a “city within a city”, with its own railway line, medical department and fire brigade. Ballymore’s regeneration plans aim to keep the site “at the heart of the local community, while also boosting the regeneration of its Liberties area location and the broader city.” New public spaces will be created, with heritage buildings preserved although “the zero carbon ambition will see existing buildings assessed for potential re-use and renewable energy potential explored.” Ballymore was founded by Mulryan and his wife Bernardine back in 1982, and is still 100% owned and managed by the Irish property tycoon. “Third Time Lucky”? Or “3 Strikes and Your OUT!” I had the best weekend ever and for a change it was all about me 🤣 I spent a couple of days on the grouse moor last week with my young dog Wolf, covering approx 50Km over two days in the beating line. The weather was fantastic, if a little too hot 🥵 but we won’t complain about that. We were part of a dedicated team and helped account for 200brace of Scotland’s finest wild game birds. We then hit the road to visit a very good friend and chill out in the late summer sun 🌞 drinking beer 🍻 and resting our weary legs, poor Wolf really appreciated his rest day. Then we were on the road again as we had been very kindly invited to experience Sika Stags being called! Now many may think this a bit of a busmans holiday but I haven’t been this excited in a long time. The stags were only really starting to whistle which is one of the most eerie sounds ever but boy does it get the heart racing! So this particular hunt was an early morning hunt where we were blessed with the weather again, the sun decided to shine down on us and there was barely a whisp of wind. Not ideal hunting weather but that’s what made this hunt. Me and my guide for the day and the dogs walked out to the end of a quiet secluded forest with the wind blowing up our backsides. The dogs intermittently scenting that there were animals lurking in the trees 🌲 We got to a point where we could over watch a clearing, got set up and started to make a few exploratory calls to see if anyone out there wanted to chat back! Quiet! Then on a distant open hill came a dark silhouette cruising across the ground . We called, he stopped and listened. He began to cruise toward us again. We called he stopped and looked, listened but never muttered a moan back, but he was intent on closing the 1Km + that still lay between us. He was very purposeful in the way he closed the distance but he was playing a tactical game, coming in on a diagonal and using the relief of the ground to sneak in on us. Who was hunting who?! He hit the boundary fence which separated the open ground and the forestry but he didn’t come straight in like we expected him too, this was a sneaky old stag!.... - @prosportingsolutions on Instagram

But food isn’t the only area we can embrace the slow movement concepts. We can apply the slow living approach in almost every area of life - * Slow down and be mindful * Know where your items come from *Handmade effort into each element of a process * Think sustainable, organic, eco-friendly, low-processed or no-processed I’ve dabbled with incorporating more slow living into my life over the years, and Crafting has been one of my earliest and ongoing slow living obsessions - from my teens I have been recycling and up cycling clothes into fabulous fashions just for me. And in more recent history, crafting was the restorative therapy that supported me getting healthy again … and a great little business. Crafting is a passion and obsession of mine, and is an ideal way to start embracing a slower way of life. After all, the very nature of the act is a way of slowing down. Slow living offers many benefits. One of them being the enormously positive effect it has on our mental health. The biggest mental health benefit of slow crafting is inner-connectedness. Engaging in crafting allows space to connect with your inner self. The more you slow down and work with your hands, the quieter the noise in your head. Slow crafting also helps with mindfulness practice. There are, of course, many mental health benefits from mindfulness. Craft is an easy entry to the practice for people who aren’t using it frequently in their lives. In my opinion, EVERYONE should be crafting, from young bodies to ancient ones. All genders, all income and education levels. EVERYONE can benefit from crafting. In de serie ‘Eeuw van mijn Dochters’ legde ik elke week een concrete vraag over de nabije toekomst voor aan wetenschappers en deskundigen. Gaan mijn dochters de ruimte in? Spreken ze nog Nederlands? Verdwijnt ons land in de Noordzee? Na een paar weken zei de hoofdredacteur van Het Parool @ronald_ockhuysen me dat er verzoeken zouden komen om de columns gebundeld uit te brengen. En ook al wist ik niet dat voorspellende gaven tot een takenpakket van een gemiddelde hoodredacteur behoorde; hij had gelijk. Eind vorig jaar tekende ik een contract bij uitgeverij @thomas_rap en startte vol goede moed aan dit boek; een bundel waarin de columns, niet gehinderd door de beperkte ruimte van een krantenpagina, flink zijn uitgebreid, vernieuwd en aangevuld en ik in een stuk of vijftig hoofdstukken, waaronder een aantal splinternieuwe, de eeuw van mijn dochters in kaart probeer te brengen. Ik zal eerlijk zijn, tijdens de ‘intelligente lockdown’ raakte ik ontmoedigd. Hoe kun je schrijven over de toekomst wanneer er alleen het heden is? If you know us, then you know him – during lockdown, he passed his 4 year milestone with the company, but sadly had to forgo the caterpillar cake party because pandemic. We can’t have him thinking his exploits have gone unobserved, so here’s a list of some notable achievements over the years: - Early in his tenure, attended the notorious Gin Off, awoke to twilight and sprinted to the bar in the belief that he’d slept through his entire prep shift. Nope. Sunrise. - Destroyed Elliot in the ongoing game/art of ‘who can live closest to work?’ by practically moving above the bar. Gloated the victory by building a tiki bar in his bedroom. - Was sufficiently late to his trial shift that we just didn’t think he was coming. But he did come, and he’s been for the four years following. Woof. Anyway, we’ve obviously gone for a list of lovably ropey (and yet still admissible) stuff, because that’s actually the fun way of doing it. His unbelievable dedication (once more for the back row, FOUR YEARS), delightful manner and bizarre creativity are well-known for anyone who’s met the guy, let alone seen him work. ‘The bar wouldn’t be the same without him’ is a pretty ubiquitous phrase, but when the guy’s been present for 80% of the bar’s existence... yeah.
