Well what are you going to do? Keep grinding on not getting the results you actually want?😩 • Between these 2 photos is 4.8lbs over the last few weeks from 2000 cals to 2600+ (not much difference but sure I’m heavier so I must be a fat heifer 🤪) my reasons for gaining are obviously different from yours but the same idea applies. You wana gain muscle? You gotta eat. You gotta train. 💪🏻 • Take a few months to work on getting those calories up if it applies to you. The scales will go up yes. But the scales don’t measure body fat. Your circumference measurements don’t measure body fat. It’s a tool. 📈 • Build your foundations and then you can chip back. I have a lot of doubts & uncertainty w/ my self at times. I have tendencies to question what Im doing or even why. Like, whats my purpose. Am I even doing this right. I dont know sometimes, yenno? . But whats different about me now versus before is that I have a lot of new ways of talking to my self, thinking & being. A lot more kind & healthy. For every thought of uncertainty, my spirit reminds me that I can. For every doubt that comes by, I get feelings of support & comfort. For every question that comes up, I have an answer. It might not be what I want to hear but definitely always what I need to. . The point is, from lifes bullshit really does come lifes blessings.... As crazy & chaotic life can be, in the midst of it all is really good shit. Beautiful shit. Like calmness, peace, balance & harmony. Life is never just one thing, its everything mixed into one. Always at the same time. . More recently, Ive been questioning my self. Feeling almost burnt out again LOL so I was like fuck that, Im gonna rest. But while I was feeling drained + tired, self sabotaging thoughts came telling me I couldnt. Or I cant. But w/ rest, came clarity & perspective. I AM a bomb ass bitch lol. & thank you for loving & accepting me as I am. Even when I forget who I am. . I just wanted to express my gratitude towards you, Divine Family. My life has been filled w/ many ups & downs, as all of us may be experiencing. But you guys have been w/ me through it all these past 3 years. I get it. Youre not as active as night and will be heading to bed, so consuming carbs which will increase insulin, will lead to fat storage. The problem with this viewpoint is that it doesnt take into consideration the most important variable when it comes to fat loss... CALORIES. You could eat all your calories and carbs at dinner if you wished and as long as your energy expenditure exceeded your intake, wed see fat loss. Now could the timing of your carbs and meals INDIRECTLY affect fat loss by impacting performance and appetite regulation? Yes. But this still comes down to energy balance. For the majority of people, who arent athletes, basing your meal and nutrient timing on what will personally help you regulate your intake is likely a smart idea. Ironically, I find that a lot of clients often see better results by slightly backloading their calories and carbs to the evening when: 1. They can have a family meal and not have to eat something different. 2. Theyre tired and are more likely to lapse.
