Yesterday, we said goodbye to my best friend and lil baby Maggie. She’s been with me since I was 14 and has been by side through thick and thin. Always there to make me feel better and cuddle when I need it most. She lived a long and wonderful life and our vet agreed that surgery would not have been a good option because of her age and other health issues. I’m at peace knowing she is with my dad, licking his legs for all of eternity and eating all of the sandwiches and special brownies her heart desires.
