A lot of you have commented and spoken about our packaging. All the feedbacks made us dig into it and we realized that it was a big lack of judgment from our side. It also made us realize our responsibility as a brand and gave a valuable lesson on how much more we needed to add to our product and packaging process. We have to change the packaging as soon as possible; we owe you all that much! Its never easy to change the entire packaging in such a short period, so we have decided to bring these changes in a phased manner. We didn’t want to wait for 60-90 days for the new bottles to arrive, so we have decided to change the labels & packaging box designs as these have relatively shorter production cycle. Phase 1: In this phase, we will change the labels and boxes of the product. The dropper and bottle will be the same. We are working to launch this design in 7-10 days. Phase 2: In this phase, we will launch our new dropper and dark bottles as well. The dark bottles will also be UV protected to guard the product against the oxidation and will further enhance its efficacy. This process will take another ~60 days. We wanted to share the whole process with you, and here we are finally! Thank you for your patience, trust, and continued enthusiasm. Can someone show me the evidence that a baby or child should be capable of falling asleep independently? Can someone show me the proof that a child who needs support to get to sleep is worse off than those children that dont need support? Dont waste your time looking- this proof doesnt exist. ⠀ ⠀ In fact, many babies and children DO need support to get to sleep for so many reasons! Your child needs connection and closeness to you. They are not able to self-regulate on their own, and oftentimes they DO need our assistance to unwind and fall asleep. We teach them this skill, not by leaving them alone and forcing them to do it independently, but by showing up for them night after night, helping them to unwind, and thus modeling this for them. We teach them this by always offering more connection than they are asking for and allowing them to feel secure in the most important relationships they have (with us!). ⠀ ⠀ Parents, its OKAY that your child needs support to get to sleep. Its okay if your child can sometimes put themselves to sleep, and then they go through a phase where they need extra support. This is normal! You are doing a great job. ⠀ ⠀ But know that if the way you are supporting your child to sleep is not working for you, its okay for you to make a respectful change. There are different approaches to recovery. The path won’t look the same for everyone. What I can say is that any external shaming worked against me. I already carried a deep shame, which fed my addiction. Those people I met who showed me understanding and compassion helped me dig deep and work through some of my underlying issues, while practicing new habits. I had to fully commit to my recovery plan. We just spent the month of May celebrating our APA heritage and highlighting mental health awareness through community, connection, and collaboration. Now, it’s more imperative than ever to put all that into diligent actions. We must do something about confronting anti-blackness which very much exists in our Asian American community. However. It starts first by learning more because there is ALWAYS more to learn. We must educate ourselves to find meaningful and impactful ways for our community to best effectively support the black community. For the most part this shot with @jessicahpierre looks amazing. And as a side effect, hobby pole dancers are also being swept up in this purge. Pole dance 👏 is NOT 👏 sex work. Sex work 👏is NOT 👏 sex trafficking. Do Instagram’s moderators and decision makers even understand this? Judging by the reaction to J-Lo’s Super Bowl Halftime show, large swathes of the global population still see pole dancing as synonymous with ‘strip club shows’ and ‘erotic dances’ and link this to sex work. Pole has exploded in popularity from its strip club origins and is now absolutely everywhere. Some polers have sought to distance and downplay the link between stripping and pole dance. We have made a few changes to keep staff and customers safe. We have slightly longer appointment times to accommodate the extra cleaning and PPE changeovers between clients. For the time being we will not be doing beard trims. We ask that clients turn up on time, not well in advance of appointments as we can not accommodate an indoor waiting area. Grounded 🌻 I stood on the edge of despair Looking into the dark An old friend I hadn’t seen For quite sometime Alexa, play that song The comfort is still there The old familiar feeling Radiated out and brushed My consciousness to open the invitation I saw the markings on the wall All the claw marks to fight my way up All the slides of when I gave up The indention where I lay for so long I never yelled for help I didn’t want to be a burden I cant remember what changed There’s no pinpoint moment No grand epiphany Just one day I was out It was light again I ran from the void Praying I wouldn’t ever see it again But I visited it often Shorter times there And more time between the trips I remember always looking up At the light Wondering how I could get there What it would take Turns out that light up there Was the other part of me The part that hadn’t given up The part that was patiently waiting It was a journey to find the balance Within myself The highs and lows were extreme That’s why I was always stuck Between flying and falling Climbing and sliding Running and drowning I had no acceptance When I was in the dark I wouldn’t accept the light When I was in the light I wouldn’t accept the dark As I accepted both sides The balance came And I only walked When the void called to me I listened And brought the light with me When the light was blinding me I used the void as a shade And kept walking forward Forward at my own pace As the light and dark Merged in and out of themselves Then I realized they weren’t merging It was simply the winding of the path In and out of dark In and out of light And the more I slowed my pace The more I breathed The more balanced they became Until finally we were one The dark, the light, the self One A ripple in time and space Here and gone in the blink of an eye . #beardedbard #amwritingpoetry #poet #grounded #findingbalance - @taylorpawley.poet on Instagram

As a (white) mother, a sister, an aunt, a friend , and a human, it is up to me to make sure racism doesn’t seep into generations beyond. When we ask ourselves what we can do, this is it.
