*Una historia de rescate* 29 de Agosto del 2020 ⬇️ Durante la temporada de reproducción, una de nuestras mas exitosas parejas dentro del parque de aves, puso 3 huevos fértiles! En años pasados, estos padres habían experimentado criando a 1 o 2 bebés al mismo tiempo, pero en esta ocasión fue más de lo esperado…Naturalmente una pareja activa de guacamayas, llega a poner de 3 a 4 huevos, de los cuales sobrevive 1 y en casos exitosos 2, dependiendo siempre de la disponibilidad de recursos y muchas veces los mismos padres rechazan a sus últimas crías para asegurar la supervivencia de las primeras. Este caso no fue la excepción. Por el otro lado, también se encontraba una pareja activa experimentada tratando de que alguno de sus huevos infértiles, sobreviviera. El año pasado se distinguieron del resto por haber sido los padres adoptivos de nuestro querido Mister, (una guacamaya blue and gold que rescatamos del nido a las pocas semanas de nacido por un problema de estrés de sus padres), pero este año seguían intentándolo.
