Today marks 5 years since The Positions was released. It was actually the end of 2013 when we traveled to a beautiful college town called New Paltz, New York to work with total lord Kevin McMahon on this record. We spent two months sleeping in Kev’s barn, and a guy called Ray’s basement, and recording each day from about 3pm to 3am. The rest of our time was spent eating Tex-Mex burgers at Noshi’s and drinking 2 dollar pints at Bacchus. We were fat, miserable and having the time of our lives. We are grateful to the people of New Paltz for taking us in and the team of people who dragged our sorry arses through this process and made The Positions what it was. This record meant a lot to many people for many different reasons, so this week we are asking fans to share with us what this record meant to you.
