5 years ago today, right about now... Mao, Chiri & Miri became part of our family & changed our lives forever! Mao had kind of adopted our home a couple months earlier, but like a good Mama Cat, she switched homes to protect her little kittens. She still kept coming by for a visit & snack everyday. And then finally, when we realised the adult tom cats were targeting the little ones... we brought them home! Its hard to believe Mao isnt with us anymore... I keep expecting her to meow loudly & demand to be let in... or out (depending on what side of the door she is!) Chiri, of course, is still having adventures in the great outdoors & still complains loudly if breakfast is late! Miri, the sweet boy, yo-yos between being an alpha-bully & the wide-eyed Puss in Boots cutie!
