Y A L L. I h o n e s t l y don’t feel like I have the words to adequately express the amount of genuine joy in my life right now. WHO YOU SURROUND YOURSELF WITH M A T T E R S 👏🏼 @rayhicks__ and @jamesdutton_ have both said something at our church gatherings that is so true... here in Nashville you can find people to cheer you on no matter what you’re doing. You can find people to party with and who bring out the worldly things in you; or you can find people who bring you closer to who God has called you to be. I moved to downtown Nashville (only 25 minutes further south than the place I was born and have lived my entire life) and it has completely changed my life. God has brought so many new people into my life and I’m truly overwhelmed with the level of blessed I feel. I was never the girl who had a lot of friends in school or even as a young adult. I’ve always felt it was hard for me to really connect and vibe with most people, so forming so many truly genuine relationships in the course of the past 3 weeks has been something I’ve never experienced and it’s honestly so overwhelming, in the best way. I’m about as stable as an Ikea table these days. I’ve laughed, worshipped, hugged, and cried (happy tears) more this past month than I have ever before. Life is filled with hills and valleys and, although this is definitely a high for me right now, the joy I get from these God given friendships is something I know I will have forever. Unlike money, careers, vacations, cars, hook ups, social status, alcohol, etc., God and the people He puts in your life are sacred and deserve to be treated as such. Time is so valuable, so to those of you who choose to spend your time with me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all have changed my life and mean the world to me. Can you believe it’s your 6th birthday I’ve spent with you... who knew after all the this time with the bumps, curves and issues that have been in our way we would still be the best of mates. Something we both thought at the time was just a ‘thing’ turned into something special. The relationship we have can be odd, I can be an absolute sh*t at times... we do have our disagreements & sometimes we are two completely different people whilst at the same time... being exactly the same (if that makes sense).
