Am Montag, 21. September 2020, ereignete sich auf der Wägitalstrasse in Siebnen ein tödlicher Verkehrsunfall. Ein 58-jähriger Motorradlenker fuhr um 16.30 Uhr talwärts, als er frontal mit einem anderen Motorrad kollidierte. Dabei erlitt er so schwere Verletzungen, dass er noch auf der Unfallstelle verstarb. Der 25-jährige Lenker des entgegenkommenden Zweirads erlitt erhebliche Verletzungen. Nach einer Erstversorgung durch den Rettungsdienst brachte ihn die Rega in eine Spezialklinik. We rode from KC to Austin for the MotoGP (2k+ miles) and took the opportunity to ride The Twisted Sisters in the West Texas Hill country. Stopped at a bend to enjoy the view.
