Nothing comes before them and I will always fight hard for their wellbeing and to ensure they grow up loved and supported into the best human beings they can possibly be. Raph thinks that mum’s have (M)agical powers; we can find things when they lose them, fix things, comfort and sense when they are not feeling right or most (M)agical of all, we know when they have been up to Mischief! In truth, it is the honour of being a Mum that is truly (M)agical and gives us the strength to do more and be better - for them. The power and strength of the love and pride you feel as a Mother is (M)agical. Isla pretends to be too grown up for Magic, but in truth needs a (M)agical Mum more than ever and my life goal is to always be the best Mum I can possibly be for both of them. I am so happy that Nike are recognizing Mums in this way and doing everything to support athletes’ Motherhood journeys. I think being able to run each day helps me to be a nicer person and a better mum. Certainly being able to run through my pregnancy helped me stay mentally and physically healthy throughout and helped us all cope with the birth better.
