Minimalism: is fabulous, it’s just not for me. I adore that low waste living can look different for different humans. * I deconstructed my closet this morning, trying to figure out what to pack for a wedding next weekend. * I’m a collector of things, ideas, curiosities. I have more shoes than I need (I’d argue I wear most of them out..) right now, without a car, I find myself walking an average of 7-10 miles a day. Living on top of a 1000ft hill, my wandering slims the soles of shoes with speed. I used to be afraid of raising my hand sayinf “actually I own a lot of s***”, but I do, and it’s a conscious choice that I’ve considered, and overtime owned, and now celebrate. * The total cost of the shoes here (about 30 pairs) was ~$250. Some came from thrift stores like @communitythriftsf + @goodwillintl , others from friends who didn’t want them. I don’t buy new shoes because I can find nearly new ones used. Putting together my personal comfort bed (alternative to sleep number) The company did a study saying it relieved 90 percent of peoples back pain who slept on this bed. I am giving it a try because those who know me know that I have a terrible back currently due to a car accident last year. Will let you know the results in a few weeks! I miss @theshopgym so much. I miss powerlifting so much. But this is another chance for me to better myself, physically and mentally. Still have my eyes set on being at the top, and I know that @kairossbach will help me get there but when things are out of control I just need to do my job of staying active and patient, until he can work his magic again. Just some videos from today’s at home workout using 60lb of rice and a suitcase as my makeshift dumbbell for my RDLs, hamstring curls, hip thrusts, and face pulls.
