10 years ago, today: Banned in #NYC. Literally. This print i was commissioned to create for #AliceInChains, #deftones, and #Mastodon 10 years ago, was pulled from the merch booths by #MadisonSquareGarden officials, citing indecency. Dozens of fans who showed up early to grab the prints (which had been previewed on the bands social media) were not allowed to purchase a print. I got a bunch of emails that night, telling me the story. Only 2 or 3 copies (signed by band members) were sold, before the cops at #MSG pulled the poster plug. The piece is a large screenprint, printed with gallery inks, including some metallics.
