Karya agung terbesar di Bali ini, dalam Rudra Tattwa disebutkan ditujukan untuk kekuasaan Tuhan yang tidak terbatas dan meresapi segala ciptaanNya agar keharmonisan bhuwana agung dan bhuwana alit sebagai aplikasi dari filosofi Tri Hita Karana. Dalam perayaannya di Pura Agung Besakih, Eka Dasa Rudra dilaksanakan setiap 100 tahun sekali manakala angka satuan dan puluhan tahun saka mencapai angka 0, disebut pula rah windu tenggek windu. Dalam catatan di Di Pura Agung Besakih, Tawur Agung Eka Dasa Rudra pernah dilaksanakan tahun 1963, tepatnya pada Sukra Pon Julungwangi tanggal 9 Maret 1963. Tahun 1979, pada Buda Paing Wariga tanggal 28 Maret 1979, kembali diselenggarakan upacara Tawur Agung Eka Dasa Rudra. Upacara Tawur Eka Dasa Rudra 1979 ini sesuai dengan perhitungan perputaran tahun Saka saat satuan dan puluhan mencapai angka nol, yaitu pada tahun Saka 1900. Rangkaian (dudonan) prosesi Tawur Agung Eka Dasa Rudra dilaksanakan dengan berpedoman pada sumber sastra yang ada disertai berbagai kajian para Sulinggih terhadap tata laksana yadnya Tawur. Pelaksanaan upacara diawali dengan Matur Piuning, Nuwasen Karya, Nuwur Tirtha, Melasti hingga puncak Karya Agung. Dengan waktu pelaksanaan yang berhimpitan dengan Sasih Kadasa (puncak Tawur Eka Dasa Rudra dilaksanakan pada Tilem Kasanga). Pada pelaksanaan Eka Dasa Rudra 1979 dilanjutkan dengan upacara tahunan Bhatara Turun Kabeh pada Purnama Kadasa. REITORIA SEM REGÊNCIA Entrei na UFRGS na aurora de 1976 – mas parece que foi trasanteontem. E foi mesmo, tanta água já passou pelo meu moinho. Após anos na mesmice insípida do colégio, imerso em teoremas, logaritmos, protozoários e servos da gleba, prestei vestibular e passei! Raspando, mas passei (59º lugar entre 65 aprovados). Então, curti férias numa praia deserta (nos tempos em que isso existia) e voltei pronto para minha nova vida: a vida universitária. Foi como embarcar no Titanic. Estávamos no regime militar: a ditadura que certos pulhas dizem que foi “dita branda” e incertos canalhas querem de volta. Quem entrava na faculdade, tinha, antes de ingressar no curso para o qual havia sido aprovado, que fazer o famigerado “curso básico”. Oficialmente, o objetivo daquilo era “dar aos estudantes formação geral antes da especialização profissional”. As matérias, se mal me lembro, eram Redação, Normas Técnicas e a inolvidável Estudo de Problemas Brasileiros (EPB), irmã mais velha de OSPB e filha de Moral e Cívica. Tive saudades dos servos da gleba e dos protozoários. O que começou mal, não melhorou a seguir. Embora no primeiro dia na Faculdade de Comunicação, eu tenha visto, pichada no diretório acadêmico, a memorável frase: “Se Deus existe é problema dele”, não lembro de ter aprendido lá nada que viesse a me servir na vida profissional. E como logo fui trabalhar em Zero Hora, daí mesmo que não dei a menor bola para o curso. Quando, quatro anos depois, recebi uma carta dizendo que eu seria “jubilado”, achei que era a UFRGS enfim rejubilando-se com meu talento. Mas não. Era uma ameaça: ou eu me formava naquele semestre ou bau-baus. Como, no Brasil, quem tem curso superior não vai para vala, ops, cela comum, decidi me formar. Vai saber... Turkish eggs recipe (Яйца по Панагюрски in Bulgarian) on the blog ✨ This dish always transports me back to Bulgaria and my mom’s kitchen on a hot summer day when the windows are wide open and it’s too hot to cook anything. My mom would whip us Яйца по Панагюрски for lunch and this savory, decadent, yet simple dish made me feel so special and fancy ☺️. My favorite part was breaking the egg yolk and dipping my toast in the creamy, savory, herb and feta yogurt heaven. Oh, and the spice-infused brown butter swirled everywhere on the top made me lick my plate away 😋. My mom used paprika with the butter, and I fancy it up with chili pepper flakes and smoked paprika for some extra yum. In November of 2018 we hosted the very first Smudge event @theassemblysf. We proudly gathered some friends, family, and acquaintances to share our idea, our values, our vision of what Smudge would one day become. From the moment our loved ones stepped through those big church doors, we knew there was something special about the place. It was the beginning of a symbiotic and supportive relationship with a community we grew to know and love deeply. See, it was never about the gorgeous co-working spaces or the highly instagrammable outdoor shower (although, we were HERE 👏🏾 FOR 👏🏾 IT 👏🏾. @mollygoodson and her coalition of enlightened wellness warriors are what make The Assembly what it is. They imbued those walls with the kind of love and grace only someone who has built something from the ground up is capable of. They created that sparkly, confidence-boosting, yas queen, woke energy we were so obsessed with. We’re so grateful we got to experience it, feel included in it, and honestly, get shit done in it. Quick little story about this photo: On Saturday September 19th I was scheduled to have a photo shoot with @johnnycylam at the farm. We were going to capture the three acres of flowers in bloom on the farm. Heading into this weekend the field had never looked more beautiful. The crops were looking the BEST they had looked all summer and we were so excited to capture it all. Enter an unexpected visitor: A hard freeze on Friday night, killing almost everything in our three acre flower field. On Saturday morning I let Johnny know we would have to alter our plans. I wasn’t about to cancel this shoot, Johnny’s time is valuable and we had a commitment. Work is work and creatives deserve to get paid for the work they book. I had to pivot this shoot quickly. Within 2 hours of Johnny arriving we rallied. We headed to a local farm and bought up plenty of pumpkins and gourds. We set up the best fall displays that we could and captured some really beautiful images, including this one. This wasn’t the plan. But really, nothing in 2020 has gone according to plan. And here we are making it work. Finding the beauty in whatever 2020 wants to throw at us. Big hugs and love to @johnnycylam for making magic for us on a day that could have felt anything BUT magical. This man is all talent, professionalism and heart. Artists, creatives and farmers rally when things get hard. It’s just what we do. And the results are worth it. Our fresh flower field may be over, BUT we have some very beautiful things in-store for our customers as we close out September and head into thanksgiving. Come visit us. For Malsawmi, being a homemaker was enough, until she decided life’s too short to not follow your passion. She got her inspiration from her mother, who apart from being a homemaker was excellent with cross-stitch works, which she pursued as a hobby. Growing up watching her craft, somewhere she knew she wanted to follow in her footsteps, and not long ago that’s what gave birth to Zo Weaves. With Zo Weaves, she makes customized handwoven Puan, which is a traditional wrap-around in Mizoram. During a time of Pandemic, Zo Weaves is helping her support 63 weavers, many of whom are stay at home moms to earn a regular income.
