“Blue Hearts” is the new @bobmouldmusic record, out today on @mergerecords. It’s a raw and powerful expression of rage and sadness that is unfortunately even more relevant than when we recorded it. Albums like this feel necessary right now. Making records with Bob, @jonwurster, and @jasonnarducy is truly one of the greatest joys of my recording career. I’m incredibly thankful they trust me to help capture what they do as a band. Once again we returned to @electricalaudio for tracking: many thanks to @taylorhales, Greg, Jon, Matthew, Ruby, @areshaw, and the entire EA family. We mixed the record at @new_improved_recording in Oakland, and @matthewbarnhart once again did a fantastic job mastering it. It is a quality that comes through in every interview or presentation that requires [Christine Sun Kim] to explain her Korean heritage, her Deafness, her creative practice anew, anew, anew; to explain that sound is her medium of choice, that sound is like money, power, control—social currency, but also like a ghost: felt though not seen. In the third installment of the Sonic Avenues column, Patrick J. Reed profiles Christine Sun Kim, looking at her drawings, performances, interviews, her 2015 TED Talk that has nearly two million views, and more. On September 16th, 1990, the second single from ICEHOUSE’s album, Code Blue, was released. The song, “Miss Divine”, reached Number 16 on the Australian Singles chart. The song was inspired by the story of Matilda “Tilly” Devine, who ruled over the Sydney underground for many years until her passing in 1970. https://youtu.be/pSsfZhXYpfI #icehouse #icehouseband #ivadavies #missdivine #codeblue - @icehouseband on Instagram

In recent years, Daishi Luo has continued to work with copper, focusing on the creative research of biology in materials. The fusion of contemporary science and the design material behavior allows the material to grow spontaneously in the creation, create what it wants to be, and explore the natural life energy of copper. Taking objects as the carrier to reflect on the human-centered creation and treatment methods since the Industrial Revolution, to develop natural intelligence across fields. • Artwork: Daishi Luo Orchestra No. 3, 2018 Copper 17.7h x 11.4w x 11.4d inches • @daishiluo @galleryallofficial #daishiluo #galleryall #sidetable #accenttable #table #stool #seating #collectibledesign #artdesign #contemporarydesign #chinesedesign #chinesedesigner #interiordesign #designinspiration #designindetail #艺术 #现代艺术 #设计 - @galleryallofficial on Instagram
