Eran las 6 horas peruanas de ese aรฑo en el acondicionado circuito callejero en centro de Lima, donde lamentablemente mientras estรกbamos en plena carrera mi amigo Cesar Vera perderรญa la vida al estrellarse. No hay como describรญr una situaciรณn asรญ, donde en el momento mas feliz de un piloto, que es estar en una carrera, muera un amigo, un piloto, alguien que compartiรณ muchas carreras y momentos contigo en este deporte y que simplemente en un segundo acabo todo para รฉl. Recuerdo ese dรญa, mis piernas temblaban, gritaba y lloraba de impotencia, mientras que llamaba por radio a mi jefe de equipo en los pits (Tito Maruy) quien me tranquilizaba, aunque รฉl no veรญa el lugar del accidente ni como quedo el auto, no nos dejaron parar, ni bajarnos de los autos, fue un dรญa que quiero borrar y no suelo comentar. Esa noche en mi cama pensaba en vender todo y retirarme, Solo 6 aรฑos antes habรญa muerto otro amigo( Esteban Quispitupa) mientras corrรญamos caminos del inca, Pero esta vez era diferente, mas impactante o mas cerca tal vez, no lo se. Asรญ que esa idea la tuve por dรญas, pero felizmente no lo hice. Imagino algunosย  comentarios, pero tendrรญan que estar en ese lugar ,ese momento, dentro del auto y en la misma carrera. Los tiempos han cambiado y las medidas de seguridad han mejorado mucho,espero que los pilotos de hoy nunca tengan que vivir una experiencia asรญ, estoy seguro que varios colgarรญan los guantes. TECHNICAL - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. III Group A Participation in motorsports by car manufacturers serves as the test bed for developing and refining technology that trickles down to production cars. Many fans of JDM cars will know that the venerable Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution series was a machine created for the purpose of top level competition in the World Rally Championship. Images of these WRC works cars attacking corners on dry and wet tarmac, gravel, sometimes thick mud and snow are what has built the legendary status of the name plate, giving owners of the homologation built road cars the same pride that they own a machine similar to a WRC champion. The early WRC cars driven by Kenneth Eriksson and Tommi Makinen were under Group A regulation. While the rules restricted many parameters like capacity, basic structure of the engine components, the drive train and suspension could be experimented with prototype parts that were developed both by MMC RalliArt in Japan and RalliArt Europe based in Rugby, England, where the Gr. A car was built. While many fans focus on engine power, the real technology that made them faster than more powerful older Gr. B cars is undoubtedly the 4WD system. While the customer production model Evo 1-3 had a fixed full-time 50:50 front rear torque split 4WD, the Gr. A car used a sophisticated but simple system that could vary and completely free torque to the front wheels upon corner turn in and apply lock on the centre diff and front diff as the car goes through various stages of the corner. On the Evo 1-3 the 4WD arrangement used a 3 shaft system. One of these connected the output gear of the transmission directly to the propellor shaft and rear axel, effectively making it FR. the other shaft connected to the front axel. The heart of the system was all controlled by individual CPUs and linked to an main CPU with various sensors to create a highly adjustable setting depending on the stage. Honda Civic EG5. Some people build a car from 0 to finished and then use it. Others have rolling projects, cars that go from stock to finished while being used, abused and enjoyed. My friend @dani94_ek is like me and prefers the latter. A car that progresses with every mod, change or maintenance done to it. You can feel and see every change.
