Uno spettacolo terrificante, che sembra non appartenere nemmeno a questo mondo. Ogni volta torno indietro al 1999, quando ho scoperto lo Scarafaggio. È difficile ! È dura ! Ma dobbiamo tutti quanti confidare nella speranza, ogniqualvolta incontriamo il dolore, sia fisico o morale che sia. Molti temono la sofferenza, e gli occhi che incroci ti urlano paura. Non esiste il forza e coraggio. Esiste solo la volontà di stare accanto, per davvero, a chi soffre con il silenzio e la forza del cuore. Esiste il sacrificio del proprio tempo per assistere i propri cari, che non sono i quindici minuti disponibili tra un impegno e l’altro. Non fate lerrore di appesantire con la vostra angoscia chi deve camminare nel limbo del cancro. Abbiate il coraggio di vivere con loro la malattia ! Non usate frasi di circostanza o abbracci senza vita ! Non fatevi nemmeno vedere dai sofferenti, se non avete vero dolore per loro ! Amate, sempre, senza pietà ma con vera passione e vero amore. Hi all, @holdtheframe here. I’m excited to host the CS account for the next week. This community has been an invaluable resource for me and I hope my posts are useful to others. Here we go. First up, I’d like to talk about The Sound of Silence, a feature I shot, directed by @michaeltyburski . It premiered at Sundance 2019 and was released by IFC Films and is streaming these days. Peter Lucian (played by Peter Sarsgaard) is a successful house tuner in New York City, who calibrates the sound in peoples homes in order to adjust their moods. He meets a client, Ellen (played by Rashida Jones), with a problem he cant solve. I’ve hopped around many genres in my work but my approach to conceptualizing the look of each film always begins with character and story. How can I use my tools to portray the character’s emotional journey? In our initial meetings in prep, the director and I dig into the subtext and psychology of the characters and I let those ideas inform our visuals. I try to do this before we even start scouting so that these core ideas guide what we think we want in our locations. The film is about Peter’s obsession with the invisible forces that influence us. To draw out how that obsession has isolated him emotionally, and how it imposes a rigidity on his life, I shot early sequences in the film without much camera movement and wide-open on Zeiss Super Speeds for a super shallow depth of field. Of course, the visuals of this film had to support the sound elements and the act of listening, which is central to the film’s story. We found that by limiting the bandwidth of visual information further, with very low exposure levels and by designing a LUT that pulled everything into a very limited color palette (with the mighty @romanhankewycz ), we were able to enhance the audience’s act of listening. The Peanut Butter Falcon Had 2 completely separate friends recommend this film to me in the same weekend at the start of the month and I’ve only just got round to watching it. It is nothing like I was expecting, the Netflix clip preview does not do it justice at all. It’s a really random but such a sweet film not really like anything I’ve seen before. Yes it’s a runaway story and surrogate brother story but not like anything I’ve seen before. Definitely has mark twain and of mice and men themes but told totally differently. it’s really refreshing to have something original in this world of remakes and sequels. It has been a good script with memorable lines. And the cast is really good. Lead by Shia LaBeouf who is really good in this. But the person who steals the show is the lead actor Zack Gottsagen in his first big screen performance, the actor has downs in real life not just an actor acting downs like in so many movies previous, and he plays the role really well. Dakota Johnson is also good but feel like her character could have more to it, they hint at a back story but don’t really talk about it. Also Bruce Dern is hilarious in this and Thomas Haden Church is quite funny. Also an actor that I really like and love seeing him on screen, Jon Bernthal is in it but I did have to google it to check it was him as he is only in the briefest flashes which is a shame. So If you’re after a sweet, happy and amusing film give this a go.
