🌙✨good evening my loves! I apologise profusely for my inconsistency recently! I must sound like an absolute broken record, but my mental health has been at an all time low to be honest, I’ve had some really great times in this lockdown but like everyone I’ve experienced some really low lows! Anyway enough about me, this poem is a very special one! I figured I write a lot about topical themes and my loved ones however I don’t write enough about my friends who are honestly the kindest, most positive people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and loving! From now on I’m going to write about them more because poetry is the best way i express myself! Today I went back to the town I went to school in and it made me so emotional and brought back so many memories of me growing up and going to school with my best friend @carolinevbarratt 💛we come from very similar backgrounds and I honestly feel like I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without her, I am so grateful for her even if I don’t tell her everyday!! Like everyone we’ve had ups and downs in our friendship, but I couldn’t be without her wisdom, humour and encouragement, and constant support 💛also there a photo of us now if you swipe left! This one is about the joys of us growing up and being free before we turn into responsible adults which I’d like to think we both are now!
