Hoeks Hart voor fietsers 𝑮𝑰𝑹𝑶 𝑫𝑰 𝑴𝑼𝑺𝑪𝑶𝑳𝑰 🚲🚲 Hoek van Holland wil zondagochtend 13 september een EREHAAG vormen voor de deelnemende fietsers aan de Giro di Muscoli. Een epische tocht over vriendschap, waarvan de opbrengst naar Stichting ALS gaat. Twee vrienden Colin & Gerben, waarvan Gerben helaas met ALS, bedachten deze Giro om ALS de wereld uit te trappen. Die fietstocht loopt van Londen, via Hoek van Holland naar Arnhem om uiteindelijk naar in Fano, Italië te eindigen. 15 Etappes maken in totaal 2.300 kilometer fietsen voor een goed doel. Het deel Hoek van Holland-Arnhem bedraagt 160 kilometer. We appeal to you to support the fifth edition of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale. Being an institution that believes in the importance of art, culture and art education, especially during times as dire as these, we made a decision not to cancel the upcoming edition of the Biennale. To be able to bring to you a biennale that is responsive to our current circumstances, we will have to invest time, effort and money in adaptations and precautions. However, the economic fallout of the pandemic poses numerous challenges to this, such as funding for the arts and culture becoming scant. Kochi-Muziris Biennale, in addition to its pronounced cultural impact, has also been an important economic generator for the city and region, activating sectors such as transportation, tourism, hospitality, small-scale businesses and so on. In 2018, we managed to essay a small role in helping nurse the state of Kerala back to health after the devastating floods. We trust that with the upcoming edition we can help provide this much needed respite to the region. Heute schreiben wir euch in eigener Sache, es geht nicht um Marken oder Produkte, sondern um unseren Freund Vitali Shkliarov, ein ganz toller Typ und der Mensch mit dem verrücktesten Lebenslauf, den wir kennen. Er wurde vor einer Woche in Gomel, Weißrussland, verhaftet und ohne Anklage in ein Gefängnis verschleppt. Vitali stammt aus Weißrussland und ist nach der Tschernobyl-Katastrophe als Kind nach Deutschland gekommen, hier aufgewachsen, hat Abi gemacht. Nach Stationen als Manager eines russischen Rap-Stars (sein Schulfreund Seryoga), DJ bei der Berliner Russendisko von Wladimir Kaminer zog Vitali in die USA und begann als Praktikant in Barack Obama´s Wiederwahlkampagne, darauf folgte Wahlkampfleitung bei Bernie Sanders 2016. Was Vitali hier gelernt hat wollte er anwenden, um in Osteuropa die Demokratisierung zu unterstützen, es folgten Einsätze als Wahlkampfmanager bei Russischen, Ukrainischen und Georgischen Wahlen - immer auf Seiten der demokratischen Opposition. Daneben schrieb Vitali kritische Artikel über Autokraten wie Putin und den weißrussischen Präsidenten Lukaschenko. Letzteres ist ihm nun zum Verhängnis geworden, da Lukaschenko kurz vor der Wahl m 9.8. eine Art Drohkampagne fährt und die Opposition ausschalten will. Als Vitali letzte Woche seine Eltern in Gomel, Weißrussland, besucht hat, wurde er verhaftet und mit vielen anderen Oppositionellen weggesperrt. Anklage unbekannt, Aussicht auf monatelange U-Haft und im schlimmsten Fall eine drohende Todesstrafe wegen Unterstützung einer Terrororganisation (der demokratischen Opposition). Wir haben mit Vitali´s Anwalt Kontakt, er sagt uns, dass Aufmerksamkeit in Westeuropäischen Ländern wie Deutschland der beste Schutz ist und Druck helfen wird, Vitali und andere Gefangene freizubekommen. Wer nach langer Pause wieder Autofahren will oder muss, fängt oft bei null an. Wenn man fünf Jahre oder mehr nicht am Steuer saß, hat man vor allem die Übung verloren. Eine gute Selbsteinschätzung ist dann ebenso wichtig, wie ein Blick von außen. Man sollte sich also fragen, ob ein paar Trainingsrunden in einem geschützten Rahmen ausreichen oder die professionelle Begleitung durch die Fahrschule nötig ist. Ein standardisiertes Nachschulungsprogramm gibt es allerdings nicht, dazu sind die Anforderungen zu individuell. Der/die Fahrlehrer*in überprüft den praktischen und theoretischen Wissensstand und gibt dann eine Empfehlung für den Umfang der Nachschulung. Wiedereinsteiger sind beispielsweise oft mit den Fahrerassistenzsystemen nicht vertraut, weil es die früher einfach nicht gab. Schwierigkeiten haben ältere Wiedereinsteiger vor allem mit komplexeren Kreuzungsverkehr und dem Mitschwimmen im Verkehr. If youre unsure, we have lots of work to do within our own nation supporting Black, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples and communities. As a community focussed on diversity and empowerment, we have been silent for far too long. Australia has a deep history of discrimination and racism towards First Nations People in Australia, and other minority communities. A history that is still repeating itself today. There have been over 400 Indigenous deaths in custody since 1990 with 0 convictions. We need to do more on our part to raise awareness around the injustices in Australia and beyond. Start today and educate yourself around the injustices in Australia. Acknowledge that Reconciliation Week has just passed in Australia (27th May - 3rd June), and NAIDOC Week will be starting in July (for this year, NAIDOC week will be celebrated during the 8-15th November). Get involved with the movement, support other organisations focussing on police brutality and mass incarceration, as well as organisations supporting Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples through mental health, education, accommodation, and legal aid. To i tak jedna z jej łagodniejszych wypowiedzi w tym temacie. Politycy i polityczki, których usta pełne są frazesów o rodzinnych wartościach, pozostają ślepi na krzywdę dzieci LGBT+. Zamiast otoczyć je należytą opieką, świadomie pogłębiają ich nieszczęście. Powierzają los młodych ludzi w ręce niekompetentnych urzędników o wątpliwej moralności, którzy w prawdziwie opiekuńczym kraju zostaliby natychmiast strąceni na śmietnik historii. Ale Polska nie jest takim krajem. Powinniście się wstydzić spojrzeć w lustro. Dziewczynka z Kozienic dołącza do Kacpra, Dominika, Milo, Wiktora i Michała - osób, o których odejściu było głośno. Nigdy nie dowiemy się, ile osób LGBT+ odebrało sobie życie po cichu, anonimowo. Nie będziemy milczeć. Pod numerem telefonu 116 111 działa telefon zaufania dla dzieci i młodzieży. 800 120 002 to numer Niebieskiej Linii dla ofiar przemocy w rodzinie. Oba numery są czynne całodobowo.
