How will I do this next turn, try to concentrate on the moment, if on the slope or off-piste thats how you do less mistakes, equals less injuries. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •Stretching• With stretching it helps to limber up your muscles, keep them loose, and thus keep your whole body in the position which it is supposed to be in. As a skier I concentrate mainly on my legs, hip and my back. I recommend stretching at least twice a week, am trying to keep it on a daily base within 30-40 Minutes and it helps me a lot. You can find any stretching exercises on the internet, I wouldnt say it is important choosing which, way more important it taking your time and trying to be consistent. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ •Nutrition• I wouldnt say there is any specific way how to feed yourself but try to have a balanced diet. Especially for sport activities like skiing I recommend having light meals. Three months ago I have started the experiment not eating any meat and I feel greater more powerful since then. By trying out many different diets you will find your own if not already found. What feels best for you, might be the best for your body. I’m posting all 10 in a row to Instagram but I doubt the algorithm will acutally let you see them, so if you want the full run down, check the link to the Snowboarder Mag site in my bio: 🏂Iñaki Odriozola 📌Cerro Chapelco, Argentina Light and shawdow, better known as contrast, is the one ingredient for a good photo that there is no substitue. While watiing for some other riders to hike up from a cliff we’d been shooting, Iñaki spotter this perfect patch of sun that had floated into place during the session. It required slashing immediately and there was barely time to even communicate this before he was strapped in and dropping towards it full speed. It was gone in mintues, with the hill covered in shadow. Luckily no second try was required. - @andywrightphoto on Instagram

From our friend Jade Davis! Please be careful out there everyone! I had a buddy trigger a small slab avalanche today in North Idaho. He was testing a South facing aspect on a small hill and it released a 40 foot wide slab that slid 25 feet. Slab broke at a Depth of around 12 inches as you can see it the picture. Be careful out there friends all this fresh snow is fun to play in but you need to play smart. Upcoming Expeditions to the Mountaineers Mountain Mt. Banderpunch, May 2021.. Bandarpunch 1 lies at an altitude of 6316 meters. It lies in the Garhwal Himalayas and is a part of the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary of Uttarkashi district in Uttarakhand. It is a major watershed for the headwaters of the Yamuna River, whose source lies above Yamunotri , on the west end of the massif below White Peak. Yamunotri is the westernmost of the four most sacred pilgrimage places (Chota Char Dham) and destination for thousands of pilgrims annually. On the north side of the Bandapoonch massif, the 12 km long glacier from its flanks feeds the Ruinsar Gad which flows into the Yamuna at Seema. On the south side, the glacier at the base of Bandarpoonch peak feeds the Hanuman Ganga River which joins the Yamuna at Hanuman Chatti. The starting point of this trek is Sukhi which lies on the way to Gangotri. The trek gets difficult because of the crevasses. First successful climbing expedition in 1950 led by Major General Harold Williams with legendary Mountaineer Tenzing Norgay, Sergeant Roy Greenwood and Sherpa Kin Chok Tshering. The summit offers thrilling views of Jogin peaks, Sudarshan Parbat, Gangotri group of peaks, Chandra Parbat, The Jaonli, Swetvaran, Matri, and Satopanth. Same shit, different day. And it was only once in a lifetime chance 🌏🙏🏽❄️ #HakubaHappo いつもの山のいつもの斜面。でも自然の遊びは必ず一期一会🙏🏽 この時期は、フリーライドなんとかっていう白馬の山のお祭り. One of the things about Sheepshead is that were high in elevation. The cabin sits at 12,000 ft and the peaks around us are 13,000 ft. So when an early or late season storm rolls through with high elevation snow levels, we still get it. These pics are from Thursday and Friday this week (Sept 10,11). It wasnt crazy deep, but it was really set up, making for some good turns and good sledding to get around. Back to Mid 70 degree temps today. One step at a time, the approach to this particular “summit” is a long one. As most of you know, we’ve been filming ‘La Liste - Everything Or Nothing’ for the last two winters. The film was set to release this fall, but #Covid19 has forced us to postpone production for a year. The good news is that the project’s still going forward, and we have one more year to slot ourselves into the high alpine.
