Thats not the case on St. Thomas, where many animals at the islands only shelter have been waiting to be adopted for some time. Its so sad to see these valuable birds in such a shape Some of Iran Airs 747s & 727s & a300s & a310s were going to be sold to be scrapped, But fortunately Because of Iranian aviation enthusiasts, one of these 747s is going to be saved and transferred to Tehran aerospace exhibition center as a part of Irans aviation history. EP-IAA is the one that is going to be saved, which is a special airplane. It was Iran airs first delivered 747 and also the first 747SP to be sold to a non-American airline. In November 1979, This airplane attended the 11h 15min record long non-stop service from Tehran to New York. Why is the 777s exhaust vent on the left side instead of the right? 👉 The primary reason for having it exit on the left is to keep the APU exhaust from interfering with ground handling operations. The two lower hold cargo doors are on the right side of the aircraft, and in most cases the door to the bulk cargo hold is on that side as well (the 767 being a noticeable exception). Imagens exibidas pela Globo News mostram que a aeronave caiu sobre três casas no bairro do Boqueirão, ne região central de Santos. O avião saiu do Aeroporto Santos Dumont, no Rio de Janeiro, com destino ao Guarujá. A princípio o motivo do acidente seria o mau tempo. O Comando da Aeronáutica informou que o acidente aconteceu por volta das 10h. A aeronave Cessna 560XL, prefixo PR-AFA, decolou do aeroporto Santos Dumont, no Rio, e tinha como destino o aeroporto de Guarujá, no litoral. O jatinho pertence a uma empresa de Ribeirão Preto, no interior de São Paulo, mas ainda não há informações de quem estaria a bordo. Segundo a FAB (Força Aérea Brasileira), perto das 9h50 o piloto da aeronave informou que tinha pouca visibilidade para pousar no Guarujá e arremeteu a aeronave. Logo após, a torre perdeu contato com o avião –que tem capacidade para 12 pessoas, em configuração padrão. ACIDENTE A Aeronáutica já iniciou as investigações para apurar os fatores que possam ter contribuído para o acidente. O avião caiu sobre uma casa e invadiu um prédio em área urbana da cidade. Segundo moradores da região, o acidente aconteceu em um área residencial. Segundo relatos, a aeronave caiu ao lado de uma academia de ginástica e atingiu ao menos três imóveis. JetBlue will end service in Long Beach in October, transfer routes to LAX . . . JetBlue will end service at the Long Beach Airport as part of a move to consolidate its routes in the Los Angeles region, the company announced Thursday, July 9. The last day of the airline’s service in Long Beach will be Oct. 6. Many of the routes JetBlue offered in Long Beach will go to the Los Angeles International Airport.
