when i used to work with chinese medicine i remember remembering that the body is designed to function with ease and to protect. our body’s natural state is healthy, well, flexible, calm, relaxed. we have normalized stress, unease, physical pain as our natural state and being relaxed as a luxury. Biologically we should be able rely on our body’s instincts and our mission is to restore balance. in our body, in our emotions, our mental state, spiritually— materially. any lack, problem, pain, skin issue, etc. is a sign of imbalance somewhere in our energy or physical system whether we were born with it, be it karmic, inherited, or a blessing— it will kindly indicate at what the issue may be or point to our mission. we are purpose, so we are born with a mission but we must understand what it is to maintain our home— our body, our environment, along side it. when is the last time you felt your natural state? are you feeling it now? can you remember ever feeling it? - @angelinayokoyamateh on Instagram
