Typical day for me thru this lockdown... / Unlike previous, now get up at 4:45 am / Make a protein shake and intraworkout drink / Travel to my dungeon gym / Destroy the logbook with the sweat that proves it / travel home / swim 20-30 laps in the pool / shower and meal / work / meal / work some more / travel home / meal / family time / meal / bed / repeat. Non lifting days replace gym with 1 hour walk up hilly roads and then 20-30 laps in the pool....Very robotic and to be honest the days kind of meld into each other and it almost feels like groundhog day. Probably much of the same for you guys/girls. But Ill tell you a stamped in stone thought that has come out of all of this for me: How much I truly love to train. And that has been my chronic driving force. Alot of people want to compete, and alot of people train because of insecurity or vanity reasons. A tremendous amount of people train to get some sort of affirmation of themselves from others (in person and on the internet)... So they go to the gym not really loving the work done but instead to fill those necessary means to an end. I truly just LOVE to train....and i know that sounds like such a simple statement....but i know a bunch of you reading this right now feel the same way I do....its not about anyone or anything else, its just me vs what the logbook said last week....training at the break of dawn in a gym all by myself (except my training partner) and how much I look forward to it every day...has really driven that thought home to me. - @dante_trudel on Instagram

First set of hair extensions ever; a velour suit; painted on Dream Tan and the six pack of abs I never thought I’d see. This pic has a lot of meaning today. It is the moment I said yes to my dreams and new opportunities. Achieving this goal allowed me to see what was possible when I set the bar higher for myself. It led me down the road of self love and personal development. I became obsessed with self-improvement. I wanted to know what I needed to do to become better. I knew to be competitive in this sport I would have to build me some capped shoulders! So I started training them 2 x per week from that day forward. I proved to myself that self-discipline, hard work and belief pay off way more than talent. I studied successful people, other competitors and worked with some amazing coaches. What started out as a goal to lose weight has become my passion and purpose. A repost of my favorite bodybuilding picture and the story behind it. My father wasn’t a big fan of bodybuilding , couldn’t understand bodybuilding as a job. Unfortunately this caused a rift in our relationship so we didn’t see each other for almost 10 years. The day before my photoshoot on the picture I got an unexpected phone call that he would like to visit me although living on the other side of the country. After telling him that I’m pretty busy and prepping for the Mr Olympia I gave him the address of the gym where the photo shoot was held. In the middle of the shoot to my surprise he showed up and I asked him to hand me my towel near him. This was captured by the great #hanshadorn. My father was absolutely in awe of what he saw and mentioned that he didn’t know how serious this is. From that day on we we’re in constant contact and he started collecting every single article about me and filing it nicely. Mai 2018 in Merced, Kalifornien, nach einem langen Kampf mit Hautkrebs, der Metastasen gebildet hatte. Scott war ein amerikanischer Bodybuilder, der in den 1970er und 1980er Jahren Mr. America- und Mr. International-Titel gewann. In den 1990er Jahren und im Jahr 2000 nahm er am IFBB Masters Mr. Olympia-Wettbewerb teil. Wilson wurde in San Diego, Kalifornien,als Sohn von Mitchell und Gwen Wilson geboren. Er wuchs in Lakeside, Kalifornien, auf, wo er als Kind mit Krafttraining begann und in der Highschool Fussball spielte. Nach seinem Abschluss meldete er sich beim United States Marine Corps an. 1973 nahm er mit einer Wette am Mr. San Diego-Wettbewerb teil und gewann diesen. Im folgenden Jahr, 1974, gewann er den AAU Mr. California-Wettbewerb. Damit war Wilson auf dem Weg zu einer Karriere im professionellen Bodybuilding. Nachdem er 1974 Mr. California gewonnen hatte, wurde Wilson Profi. 1976 gewann er den WBBG Pro Mr. America-Wettbewerb, 1981 den IFBB Mr. International-Wettbewerb und 1983 den IFBB Portland Grand Prix. In den späteren Jahren seiner Karriere nahm er dreimal am IFBB Masters Mr. Olympia-Wettbewerb teil. Sein letzter Wettbewerb war im Jahr 2000, und 2001 trat er formell in den Ruhestand. Wilson nahm eine Zeit lang auch als Powerlifter teil: Bankdrücken 263 kg (580 lb), Kniebeugen 340 kg (750 lb) und Kreuzheben 333 kg (735 lb).
