• Fancy ‘Beans on Toast’ • This is the perfect breakfast, lunch and dinner recipe 😻 a really easy and simple recipe, which is #ww and #sw approved! Recipe: 💫 Add finely chopped red onion (1/2) to a pan and cook on a med heat for 6-8 mins. 💫 Add in garlic powder (1 tsp), paprika (1/2 tbsp), cumin (1/2 tbsp), chilli powder (1 tsp) and tomato purée (1 tbsp) and combine. 💫 Add kidney beans (2 x 400g tin), black beans (1 tin), chopped tomatoes (1 tin) and water (2 tbsp) and simmer for 15 minutes with lid and then remove the lid and simmer for another 10 minutes. 💫 Slice sourdough (2 slices each) and top with bean mix and thinly sliced avocado. 💫 Serve with mayo or natural yoghurt if desired! Ripartiamo con la RICETTA DEL PATÈ DI POMODORI SECCHI, una bontà dell’ #ITALIAINTAVOLA che oggi ci offre Maria di @rafanoecannella. ⠀ A suo dire è una di quelle conserve casalinghe che non può mancare nella dispensa, ottima come condimento sia per la pasta sia sulle bruschette. ⠀ INGREDIENTI 250 g di pomodori secchi 2 spicchi di aglio 1 cucchiaio di capperi 4 filetti di acciuga 3-4 foglie di basilico q.b. olio evo ⠀ Se utilizzate i pomodori secchi sott’olio, prima di utilizzarli per realizzare il paté dovrete sgocciolarli dal loro olio e asciugarli bene tamponandoli con un foglio di carta assorbente. ⠀ Preparazione Tagliate i pomodori secchi a pezzetti e versateli nel boccale del frullatore, aggiungete l’aglio spezzettato, le foglie di basilico, i capperi dissalati e i filetti di acciuga. Azionate il frullatore e pian piano cominciate a incorporare l’olio fatto scendere a filo. ⠀ Dovrete ottenere una specie di pesto a grana grossolana. Se preferite una crema più liscia e vellutata, frullate fino alla consistenza desiderata. Anche la quantità di olio è a vostra discrezione; più o meno olio renderà il paté più o meno denso. ⠀ Versate il paté ottenuto in un vasetto di vetro con chiusura ermetica, coprite in superficie con un leggero strato di olio evo e ponetelo in frigo. El #Ratatouille es un plato de la gastronomía francesa pero por su abundancia de colores y sabores bien podría ser una receta caribeña ☀️🌴 Esta es una de nuestras #recetas más populares (y entendemos muy bien porqué) así que si alguno de ustedes no la ha preparado aún ¡Aquí tienen una nueva oportunidad! ¿listos los cuchillos y la sazón? 👇 RATATOUILLE 🍆🍅🥒 Para 4-6 personas Ingredientes: 1 berenjena 1 calabacín 2 tomates 1 papa grande 1 pimentón amarillo Sal y pimienta al gusto Hierbas (romero, albahaca y orégano) . Para la salsa: 1 lata pequeña de tomate pelado ½ pimento rojo ½ pimento amarillo 1 diente de ajo ¼ cucharadita de tomillo ¼ cucharadita de orégano Sal y pimienta al gusto . Preparación: 👩‍🍳🔥🥘 ▪️Agrega todos los ingredientes de la salsa en una licuadora y tritura hasta obtener una crema homogénea. Reserva. ▪️Con un cuchillo Santoku bien afilado rebana todos los vegetales en círculos del mismo grosor. ▪️En una bandeja para hornear vierte la salsa hasta llenar aproximadamente la mitad de la misma.▪️ Coloca los vegetales intercalando cada uno a modo de espiral hasta cubrir por completo la superficie. Sazona con sal y pimienta por encima y agrega las hierbas que quieras utilizar. ▪️Cubre con papel aluminio y cocina por 1 hora a 375ºF. Una vez pasada la hora, destápalo y cocina por 15 minutos más. Focaccia by @lucy_and_lentils 🧡 - Follow @vegadish for more delicious vegan recipes! 🤍 ___ INGREDIENTS: 320g strong white bread flour 220ml luke warm water Large pinch sea salt 7g fast yeast 3 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin will also work) ____ To top: 3 sprigs fresh rosemary roughly chopped to add to the dough’s surface 3 large cloves garlic roughly chopped to add to the dough’s surface 6 cherry tomatoes halved 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1 tsp sea salt ___ METHOD: Add the flour, yeast and salt into a bowl and mix together Pour in the 220ml luke warm water whilst bringing the dough together with your other hand, add the olive oil then bring together to form a loose dough Knead the dough on a surface for around 5 minutes then place back in the bowl with a glug of olive oil to stop it sticking to the bottom and sides Cover in a tea towel and leave in a warm place to proof for around 45 minutes (or until doubled in size) Once risen, knock back the dough, add 1 tbsp of the olive oil to the base of the baking dish, then add the dough. Using your fingers, poke the dough until it gradually spreads to fit the baking dish leave on the side to proof for a further 45 minutes Preheat the oven to 200C/400F. Découvrez le pain Simit : un pain délicieusement brioché, qui trouve ses origines en Turquie 😋⠀ Ce pain savoureux recouvert de graines de sésame est généralement dégusté au petit-déjeuner, avec du fromage ou des œufs 🧀🍳⠀ ⏱ 30min de préparation (+ 90min de repos)⠀ ⏳ 20min de cuisson⠀ ⠀ INGRÉDIENTS⠀ 350g de farine de blé T65 bio - 1,5 cc de levure boulangère déshydratée (5-6 g) - 75g de beurre fondu - 100ml deau tiède - 1 œuf - 1 cc de sel - 3 cs rases de sucre semoule - 3 cs de lait⠀ Pour la dorure : 1 blanc d’œuf + graines de sésame bio⠀ ⠀ PRÉPARATION⠀ 1️⃣Mettez la farine, la levure, le sucre et le sel dans un saladier ou dans la cuve de votre robot. Mélangez.⠀ 2️⃣Ajoutez l’œuf, le beurre fondu, leau et le lait. Pétrissez jusquà ce que la pâte se décolle de la cuve. I have huge bag of it in the freezer at the moment and have a slice almost every day :)⁠ ⠀ ⠀ BTW - The book is linked in my bio @sugarfree_londoner - 30% discount until Monday guys with the code LAUNCH30 xxx 😍😍😍 but it’s Sunday and the sun is shining and I just wanna give you the full recipe here:⠀ ⠀ Makes 16 slices⠀ ⠀ 2 cup / 200g ground flaxseed⠀ ⅔ cup / 80g coconut flour⠀ 2 tbsp caraway seeds⠀ 2 tsp baking powder⠀ ½ tsp salt⠀ 1/2 tsp xanthan gum (Optional)⠀ 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar⠀ 3 tbsp olive oil⠀ 1 cup / 240 ml warm water⠀ ⠀ 1. Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius / 350 Fahrenheit. ⠀ ⠀ 2. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.⠀ ⠀ 3. Add the wet ingredients. Then knead for a couple of minutes until the dough is elastic. After that, let it rest for 10 minutes. ⠀ ⠀ 4. Line a small loaf tin (450 ml capacity) with parchment paper and press the dough inside. Flatten the top and scatter over a few more caraway seeds. ⠀ ⠀ 5. Day 5~ Wow! I can’t believe it’s already been 5 full days here at Alsana in Monterey. I love the people in this house, the staff, and the groups so far. It’s a bit different than my past residential experience and I like the differences so far. They are slightly more relaxed with rules which has been great! My dietitian talked to me again today and she said that she doesn’t even have a real “goal” weight for me which was interesting. She said whatever my weight is when I’m not using any behaviors or having any disordered thoughts is likely my “happy weight” which is an interesting concept. In the past providers have given me a specific range to get to, so this is a bit different, but I think I will try and go with it and try to fixate less on the numerical values. It might be better for my mental health in the long run. I requested a walk to the beach this week, so fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that I get one. I’ve basically been either bed bound in the hospital or inside for about a month now, so it really would be nice to get outside and for Hallie! *Photo is of some aebleskivers! I have seen so many beautiful loaves of #challah floating around Instagram that I had to give it a try. 🥖After reading the @thekitchn article by @kosherbaker on the results of testing 4 famous challah recipes, I decided to go with the @joan_nathan recipe. It wasn’t the winner in the article, but I got a good vibe about it so. I didn’t see that this recipe was supposed to make 2 loaves so I had one GIANT loaf (about 2 feet)! That’s why I couldn’t get the full load in one shot. 😂I also went big on the braid. I did a 6 strand braid after watching a video by @challahprince about a dozen times. Overall, I though it came out well. It was little more dense than the challah I typically buy, but I’ll keep working on it. Oh! I forgot to share this tip on my babka post... my favorite place to proof dough is in the dishwasher. It is the perfect environment (especially after you’ve just done a load of dishes). Almost nothing beats homemade buttery soft pretzels! Except these VEGAN CHEESY THYME PRETZELS. They are SO GOOD! My kids even had a fight over the last piece. Haha. Pretzels are a huge favorite in our family. We love them as a snack or for breakfast, or for lunch, or for dinner....... 🌱 The RECIPE 🌱Vegan cheesy thyme pretzels (yield 4 pretzels) ⏺Ingredients •1 LB / 454 g of all-purpose flour •1 teaspoon salt •1 package / 7 g dry yeast •3 tablespoons / 40 g soft vegan butter, room temperature •1 cup / 240 ml warm water •4 tablespoons baking soda •6 sprigs of thyme •4 ounces / 110 g vegan cheddar style cheese (I used @violife_foods) ⏺Instructions 1️⃣Combine flour, salt and yeast. Add the soft vegan butter and the warm water. Knead the dough by hand until its smooth.  2️⃣Place the dough in a bowl and allow it to rise for 60 minutes or overnight in the fridge. 3️⃣Bring 70 ounces / 2 liters of water to boil and add 4 tablespoons of baking soda.  4️⃣Preheat oven to 410 degrees F / 220 C°. Line baking tray with parchment paper. 5️⃣Transfer the dough to a lightly greased work surface. Add thyme leaves and diced vegan cheddar cheese. Knead by hand until everything is well combined. Divide dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll them lengthwise and make a pretzel.  6️⃣Boil one pretzel at a time for about 1/2 minute. Then transfer to the baking tray. Sprinkle them with coarse sea salt, if desired. 7️⃣Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool just a little. La teglia di melanzane e patate al forno è un contorno davvero semplice da preparare, ma che rende tanto. Rende in termini di gusto, dal momento che gli ingredienti sono scelti con cura, sono caratteristici della tradizione italiana e piuttosto reperibili. Il contorno è anche gradevole dal punto di vista estetico, in quanto si caratterizza per dei colori accesi, tendenti soprattutto al giallo. Insomma, la teglia di melanzane e patate è una piccola grande gioia per gli occhi e per il palato. E’ una ricetta di una semplicità disarmante, che si regge praticamente sulla qualità degli ingredienti. Basta tagliare le verdure disponendole in una maniera precisa dentro una pirofila, poi occorre aggiungere la scamorza, il parmigiano e spennellare il tutto con una versione leggermente diversa di pinzimonio. Tuttavia, non bisogna dare nulla per scontato, il riferimento è al parmigiano reggiano. In genere si riserva poco importanza alla scelta del parmigiano, soprattutto quando la ricetta ne prevede l’uso in versione “grattugiata”. La questione merita, invece, qualche attenzione più. Infatti, esistono diversi tipi di parmigiano, la discriminante è la stagionatura. In questo caso è bene optare per le stagionature medie, non troppo in là con gli anni. Il motivo è semplice, il parmigiano, infatti, viene sottoposto direttamente alle alte temperature del forno, dunque è bene che sia abbastanza umido. Caratteristica, questa, che non appartiene alle varietà molto stagionate. Full recipe below 💚. 1 pack The Meatless Farm meatless mince 1 Red Onion very finely chopped (remove excess water with a kitchen towel) 2-4 green Chillis(or to taste) 1/2-1 Tbsp Ginger Paste 1/2-1 Tbsp Garlic Paste 1 Tsp Carom Seeds (ground) 1/2 Tsp All spice 1 Tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder 2 Tsp Coriander powder 1 Tsp Cumin powder 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder 1 Tsp Garam masala 1 Tsp Amchur powder Salt and Pepper to taste Handful fresh Coriander finely chopped 10 Mint leaves finely chopped 2 Tbsp Gram Flour 1 Tbsp Oil Add everything in a bowl and knead well to combine all the ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hr. Make kebabs of equal size (not too heavy) on a skewer. This mince holds really well and keeps it shape. Heat a little oil in a pan. On a low to med heat place the kebabs in the pan. Leave on one side for 1 minute without turning. Slowly turn for even cooking. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until evenly browned and cooked through. Serve with naan or rice, with a serving of salad. Chilli sauce Heat oil in a pan. Add chilli flakes to taste. Add equal amounts of sriracha and ketchup. Add 1/2 Tsp Kashmir chilli powder. Stir. Add a splash of white wine vinegar. Stirring frequently. Add water for preferred consistency. Un incontournable de lapéro, tellement savoureux : le préfou à la tomate 🍅 Et vous Funky gens, quel est votre recette indispensable pour un apéro réussi ? . 📌 Pour 1 grand préfou, il vous faut : . 📌 Pour le pain : • 250 g. de farine de blé • 20 g. de sucre blanc • 5 g. de sel • 10 g. de levure fraiche • 130 ml. d’eau tiède • 10 g. d’huile d’olive . 📌 Pour la garniture : • 50 g. de margarine ramollie en pommade • 2 cuillères à soupe de concentré de tomate • 2 gousses d’ail • 4 tomates séchées • 1/2 bouquet de persil haché • 1 pincée de sel . 👉 Délayez la levure fraiche dans 100 ml d’eau tiède et laissez reposer pendant 5 min. . 👉 Dans un grand saladier, mélangez la farine, le sucre et le sel. Ajoutez le mélange liquide de levure et l’huile d’olive, et remuez. Puis ajoutez progressivement les 30 ml d’eau restants et pétrissez à la main pendant 8 à 10 min, jusqu’à obtenir une pâte bien lisse et élastique. Ajoutez juste ce qu’il faut d’eau pour avoir une pâte lisse. Si la pâte devient trop humide et colle, ajoutez un peu de farine. Formez une boule, couvrez d’un torchon propre et laissez lever pendant 1h à température ambiante. . 👉 Quand la pâte a bien gonflé, dégazez-la sur un plan de travail fariné. Formez un grand boudin de la forme d’une baguette aplatie. Déposez le pâton sur une plaque de cuisson chemisée et laissez lever à nouveau 30 min. . 👉 Enfournez le pâton dans un four chauffé à 200°C pendant 15 min. Puis sortez-le du four et laissez refroidir. . 👉 Pendant ce temps préparez la garniture. Émincez finement l’ail, le persil et les tomates séchées. Mélangez tous les ingrédients jusqu’à obtenir un mélange bien crémeux. . 👉 Coupez la baguette en 2 dans la longueur et badigeonnez généreusement de garniture. Refermez et coupez en tranches. Vegan Cheesecake by @hazel_and_cacao 🍰😍 SWIPE LEFT FOR THE RECIPE⁣ ⬅️ ⁣ 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗘⁣👩‍🍳 𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦- 𝗖𝗥𝗨𝗦𝗧⁣ • 1 cup oats (gluten-free if necessary)⁣ • 3 cups blanched almond meal⁣ • 4 tbsp grapeseed or sunflower oil⁣ • A pinch of salt⁣ • 4 tbsp maple syrup⁣ ⁣ 𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 - 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚⁣ • 1 cup cashews (soaked for 3-4 hours)⁣ • 1 packet good quality organic silken tofu⁣ • 6 tbsp maple syrup⁣ • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast⁣ • 1 tbsp vanilla extract⁣ • 1 tsp tahini⁣ ⁣ 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦⁣ 1. For the base: mix all the crust ingredients in a bowl with a spoon until slightly sticky and moist.⁣ 2. Press the mixture evenly on the base and sides of a lightly greased cake tin. Try to go as high up the sides as you can.⁣ 3. For the filling: add all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.⁣ 4. Pour over base and bake at 180° C (355° F) for about 30- 40 minutes. I kept checking and shaking the tin and removed once the filling had set and had a jelly-like consistency (no longer liquid).⁣ 5. Remove from oven and allow to cool.⁣ 6. Decorate with raspberries and pomegranate seeds or whatever toppings you like. Ihr könnt mir später danken 👇🏻 250gr Dinkelmehl 140ml warmes Wasser (nicht zu heiss sonst killt Ihr die Hefe!) 7gr Trockenhefe 1 TL Kokosöl (5gr) 1 TL Rohrzucker 1 TL Salz - Zum Bestreichen: 3 EL Natron in 3 EL heissem Wasser aufgelöst 👩‍🍳 In einer kleinen Schüssel den Zucker mit der Hefe in warmem Wasser auflösen. 2-3 Minuten stehen lassen, bis es blubbert. In einer Schüssel das Mehl mit dem Salz vermischen Kokosöl und Hefemischung dazugeben. Während 3-4 Minuten zu einem einheitlichen Teig kneten. Eine Kugel formen und diese zugedeckt für ca 30 Minuten gehen lassen. Zwischen zwei Backpapieren Teig rund ausrollen. Den Rand grosszügig mit der Lauge bestreichen und Meersalz daraufstreuen. Den Ofen auf 200 Grad vorheizen Die Pizza mit Tomatensauce oder wie bei mir mit veganem Frischkäse und V-Mozarella belegen und in der Mitte des Ofens für ca 12-15 Minuten goldbraun backen. ______________ ℍ𝕖𝕒𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕝𝕪 ℙ𝕣𝕖𝕥𝕫𝕖𝕝 ℂ𝕣𝕦𝕤𝕥 ℙ𝕚𝕫𝕫𝕒 🥨 Have you ever tried pizza pretzel crust? It is LIFE CHANGING 👉🏻Super fast and easy to make 👉🏻No butter just 1 tbsp of coconut oil 👉🏻crispy outside, soft on the inside! * 2 cups spelt flour ⅔ cup warm water (not hot water or you might kill the yeast!) 2 tsp active dry yeast (7gr) 1 tsp coconut oil 1 tsp cane sugar 1 tsp salt - 3 tbsp baking soda + 3 tbsp water 👩‍🍳 In a bowl combine the warm water with the sugar and the yeast until it dissolves for some minutes. Combine the flour with the salt Add the coconut oil and the yeast mixture Combine and knead for at least 3-4 minutes. Put back in the bowl and let double in size for about 30 minutes. Preheat your oven to 400F Roll out pizza dough Combine the hot water with the baking soda and brush the edges of the pizza. Ingredients BASE: 2 cups walnuts ¾ cup pitted dates ⅓ cup cacao powder Zest 1 orange 1 TBSP coconut oil FILLING: 1 cup cashews (soaked for 4 hours or overnight) ½ cup cacao butter ½ cup cacao powder ½ cup maple syrup Juice half a large orange 1 tsp vanilla extract 3 drops orange essential oil (optional) Method Break down the walnuts in a food processor. Add the rest of the base ingredients and process until sticky. Press down evenly on to the base and sides of a standard tart tin and set aside. For the filling begin by melting down Cacao butter in a saucepan over low heat until all dissolved. Set aside. Add all the filling ingredients except melted cacao butter to a blender and blend until smooth as possible. Add the Cacao butter and blend again. Pour filling over tart base and smooth out with spatula. Place in freezer to set for about 3-4 hours. Sonra yarım su bardağı sıvı yağ ekleyin. 4 su bardağı unu yavaş yavaş ekleyip yoğurmaya devam edin. Un fazla gelebilir azar azar ekleyin. 30 dakika mayalandırın. Misliš da su samo rajčice rezervirane za kečap? 🤔 Razmisli opet jer mi ti donosimo recept za preeefini kečap od šljiva. 💜 P.S. Klinci će ga obožavati! Sastojci: 500 g očišćenih šljiva 200 g smeđeg šećera 200 ml jabučnog octa 6 g soli 1 ljubičasti luk 4 češnja češnjaka ¼ žličice cimeta ¼ žličice mljevenog klinčića ¼ žličice muškatnog oraščića ¼ žličice papra Stavi sitno narezane šljive, smeđi šećer i jabučni ocat u posudu s debelim dnom (tako da umak ne zagara). Na jakoj vatri dovedi do vrenja. Kuhaj 5 minuta, miješajući. Dodaj sve ostale sastojke i dobro promiješaj pa vrati da proključa. Smanji vatru na lagano i nastavi kuhati 30 minuta, povremeno miješajući, dok se kečap ne zgusne. Makni s vatre i usitni štapnim mikserom dok ne dobiješ glatku konzistenciju. Prebaci u čiste, sterilizirane staklenke. Želiš li umak spremiti za zimnicu stavi zatvorene staklenke 15 minuta u lonac s kipućom vodom pa pažljivo izvadi i ohladi. FAGOTTINI MORBIDI CON WURSTEL E PROVOLA PICCANTE. Dei morbidi lievitati, che racchiudono dentro un gustoso e ricco ripieno di wurstel e provolone piccante a cubetti. Ingredienti: 350 g farina 00; 120 ml latte; 1 uova; 35 g burro; 1 cucchiaio zucchero; 1 cucchiaino sale; 200 g wurstel; 200 g provola piccante; 1uova; q.b.semi di papavero; Nell’impastatrice, mettere la farina, il latte tiepido, l’uovo, il sale, lo zucchero, il burro a temperatura ambiente e lasciare impastare. Aggiungere il lievito sbriciolato. Continuare ad impastare, fino a quando l’impasto si sarà incordato, si sarà, cioè, avvolto nel gancio della planetaria. Tirarlo fuori e metterlo a lievitare in una ciotola. Coprire con un’altra ciotola capovolta, o con della pellicola alimentare. Questo per evitare che si formi una crosta secca che darebbe fastidio al sollevamento del panetto. Aspettare che il lievitato raddoppi il suo volume. Mettere l’impasto lievitato su un piano appena unto di olio e stenderlo con il mattarello in modo da ottenere una sfoglia rettangolare, abbastanza sottile, formando un quadrato o un rettangolo di un paio di millimetri e spennellare con un po’ di olio. Situarvi sopra i wurstel e il provolone piccante tagliati a cubetti. Arrotolare e formare un cilindro. Tagliare a porzioni e cercare di richiudere un po’ i lati, in modo che il condimento rimanga all’interno. Tagliare dei pezzi di circa 12 cm di lunghezza e poggiarli su una teglia antiaderente, distanziandoli tra loro. Coprire con un telo e lasciare lievitare ancora per circa 30 minuti. A lievitazione avvenuta, spennellare la superficie di ogni fagottino con un uovo sbattuto. If you head to the cider mill this weekend, bring home some extra to make Apple Cider Caramel sauce! Rich and sweet with a hint of tartness and spice, it’s great for drizzling over ice cream and waffles, dressing up pie, and for making caramel apples. ⁣How would you use it?⁠ ⁣🍎🍏⁠ Full recipe ⬇️ and at the link in my bio.⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ INGREDIENTS⁣⁠ - 4 cups sweet apple cider⁣⁠ - 1/3 cup light brown sugar⁣⁠ - 1/2 cup granulated sugar⁣⁠ - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt⁣⁠ - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon⁣⁠ - 1 cup heavy cream⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ DIRECTIONS⁣⁠ 1. Bring apple cider to a boil in a high-sided, heavy bottomed pot. Reduce heat to medium/medium-low to maintain a steady bubble, and cook until cider is reduced to 1/2 cup, about 35-60 minutes. Stir occasionally and watch it closely toward the end so it doesn’t burn. ⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ 2. Strain reduced cider and return to a clean pot. Stir in sugars, salt, cinnamon, and heavy cream. ⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ 3. Bring to a boil and cook until the caramel reaches 230 degrees F on a candy thermometer for caramel sauce (the caramel will coat the back of a spoon and will be pliable when refrigerated), or 245-250 degrees F for dipping caramel apples.⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ 4. Caramel will thicken as it cools (considerably so, depending on the final temperature). За что я люблю осенние пряные пироги - так это за универсальность. Ведь что нам нужно? Один хороший рецепт, с которым можно будет протянуть до самой зимы. Яблоки, груши, сливы, тыква, инжир и прочие сезонные сладости, сменяющие друг друга, легко уживутся в одном и том же тесте. Да и пряности можно выбирать на свой вкус, мои фавориты это настоящая корица и мускатный орех. Но я знаю людей, которые принимают исключительно молотый имбирь, что тоже неплохо. ⠀ Пироги ещё хороши тем, что можно бесконечно экспериментировать с составом. Никто же вам не скажет, что пирог был не тот, потому что всегда есть аргумент а кто вообще решает, каким он должен быть. В этот раз решил попробовать с инжиром. Мне всегда казалось, что он слишком хрупкий что ли, для того, чтобы выпекать его. Теперь понимаю, как много я пропустил. Весь секрет - это выбрать на рынке инжир маленький и поплотнее, будьте уверенны, десерт получится фантастическим. Для лёгкой текстурности я добавил лепестки миндаля, тут всё на ваш вкус, но мне кажется они идеально похрустывают на фоне общей нежной текстуры. Инжир довольно сладкий, что позволяет использовать минимум сладости в самом тесте, а это несомненный плюс и особенный вкус. ⠀ Ну и самое главное - это подавать такой пирог горячим, полив сверху сиропом и добавив немного лепестков миндаля на тарелку. Знаю, что кто-то достанет шарик мороженного и такая идея тоже мне очень нравится. Такой пирог разлетится в считанные минуты, потому что осенью всегда хочешь больше ароматов, тепла и сытости. Корица и печённый инжир будут отвечать за первое, горячий сироп согреет, а плотная текстура с хрустящими лепестками подарит настоящее удовольствие. What holds you back from chasing your dreams? 💫 For so long, I wanted to work in nutrition or health. But I always put it aside, saying I had no time, that I needed to work through my traumas, or that I needed to focus on the boys and my career. And, for some time, perhaps I did. 💜💜 However, more than anything, I realised that it was always fear (and myself!) holding me back. Fear of the unknown, fear of failing at one of my dreams, fear of simply taking the leap and trusting in the process. Of trusting in me. 💫 Now, I’ve finally made the leap - and the excitement and goosebumps I’ve felt as I started my training shows me how right this is for me! ☺️☺️❤️ I only wish I’d done it sooner, although the time to reflect over lockdown was important. So, my question for you (you don’t need to tell me, unless you want to!) - what holds you back, and why? Could you make a leap of your own too? Anyway, back to food and this dreamy Chocolate Orange Fig Tart! As you know, it’s one of my all-time fave flavour combos (if you’ve not tried it, you must!!). Here’s how to make it: 🍫 🍊 CHOCOLATE ORANGE FIG TART 🍊🍫 Base - I used my raw brownie recipe (a few posts back) with added orange zest Filling - 250ml plant-based cream of choice (I used coconut) 300g good quality dark chocolate, finely chopped Large pinch salt Zest one orange Drop edible orange oil Maple syrup, to sweeten (optional) Make your base, then place in the fridge to firm. To make your filling, gently heat the cream until warm but not boiling. Remove from the heat, then add in remaining ingredients. Cover and allow to stand for a few minutes, then whisk until smooth and chocolatey - apply a touch more heat to melt, if needed! Pour over tart tin, then top with fig slices. Einen schönen guten Morgen 🥰. Es duftet im ganzen Haus nach warmen, flaumigen Hefebrötchen. Mein Papa kommt gleich zum Frühstück und ich hoffe er freut sich darüber, er liebt nämlich Hefegebäck genauso wie ich. . Hier das Rezept für euch: 250 g Weizenmehl Typ 550 150 g Milch 1 Pck. Trockenhefe 40g Zucker 2 Eigelb 1El. Milch 1 TL Zitronenschale, unbehandelt, abgerieben 25g Öl __________________________ Die Milch erwärmen. Die Hefe darin auflösen. Zucker und 1 Eigelb miteinander verrühren. Das Mehl mit dem Zitronenabrieb vermischen. Die Zucker-Ei-Mischung sowie die Hefemilch und das Öl zugeben und mit Knethaken zu einem glatten Teig verarbeiten. . Anschließend Teig gut abgedeckt eine Stunde gehen lassen. Danach wird der Teig nur noch geformt und auf ein mit Backpapier belegtes Backblech gegeben. Bitte unbedingt auch hier nochmal mindestens 30 Minuten gehen lassen! . Zum Schluss werden die Brötchen mit einer Mischung aus 1 Eigelb bei und 1 El. Milch bestrichen und bei 180 Grad Ober- und Unterhitze 20 Minuten gebacken. . Now that the temperature is dipping, we thought wed share a feel-good fall salad🥗 This flavorful salad is made using roasted Honeynut Squash and topped with pomegranate arils, candied pecans. It’s great as a main dish or side salad and is so cozy and delicious. Recipe + 📸: @HungryCouple ________________________________ For the Tahini Dressing: 1 Clove garlic, peeled and finely minced 1/4 Cup sesame paste 5 Tablespoons water 2 Tablespoons lemon juice Salt and black pepper to taste For the Candied Pecans: 1/2 Cup whole pecans 1 Tablespoon butter, melted 2 Tablespoons sugar Pinch of sea salt For the Salad: 2 Honeynut squash 1 Tablespoon olive oil 2 Cups salad greens Tahini dressing Candied pecans 1/4 Cup pomegranate arils _______________________________ 1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. 2. Cut each squash in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, drizzle with the olive oil, and roast in the oven for 30 minutes or until the flesh is tender. Remove from the oven but leave it on. 3. Its been orange and smoky here so we cant even go outside to breathe fresh air and have a socially distanced coffee or drink with a neighbor. But bread makes it all a bit better doesnt it?⁣ 🥖⁣ This bread is inspired by a @joan_nathan recipe I learned at a 2016 cooking class at @foodiegoeshealthy s house. Its super simple and quick but has the surprise magic of anise which nearly disappears during baking but leaves an almost mystical flavor behind. I added orange to the mix which complements so well with the anise and reminds me of my grandma.⁣ 🍊⁣ Want to make a round one for Rosh Hashanah? Just braid the dough and connect the ends. Then impress your family by putting a heat-proof ramekin in the center and let the dough form around it. You can then use it for honey or butter. Kleine Zwetschgendatschi mit Puddingcreme 🌱🐾Mein Paps (Nicht-Veganer) ist mehr als begeistert. „ Der beste Pflaumenkuchen, der mir bisher serviert wurde!“ Hier geht es zum Rezept ⬇️ Hefeteig: 375g Weizenmehl 1Pck Hefeteig Garant 50g Zucker 1Pck Vanillezucker 200ml Vanilledrink 75g Alsan Das Mehl mit dem Hefeteig Garant vermischen und die übrigen Zutaten hinzufügen. Alles zu einem geschmeidigen Teig verarbeiten. Den Teig in ca 8-10 Teile teilen und direkt auf dem Backblech/ Backpapier ausrollen und ca.15 Minuten gehen lassen. 1Pck Backfeste Puddingcreme Vanillejoghurt Vanilledrink Die Puddingcreme nach Anleitung zubereiten und auf den Hefeteilchen verteilen. Belag: 200g Zwetschen, halbiert 1Pck Vanillezucker Die halbierten Zwetschgen mit dem Vanillezucker vermischen und auf dem Teig platzieren. Den Kuchen bei 200 Grad ( im vorgeheizten Backofen) für ca 35 backen und anschließend abkühlen lassen. 1Pck veganen Tortenguss nach Packungsanleitung vorbereiten und mit einem Esslöffel über die Zwetschgen fließen lassen. Growing up in Alexandria, Egypt 🇪🇬, my mom used to buy from time to time this scrumptious bread for our school 🏫 lunch. San Giovanni bakery in the city of Alexandria was the only bakery, city wide, acclaimed and known for selling this fluffy, pillowy bread that melts on your tongue after the first bite. This artisanal bread 🥖 miraculously transforms any mundane filling to a gourmet treat. It is absolutely delicious eaten plain. I tried many recipes to reach the same consistency or texture, to no avails. Nothing even came close to that bread entrenched in my memory. Up until , I came across Melissa Clark’s challah bread in the NYTimes food section.
