Dear fans and collectors, We have begun receiving similar inquiries regarding the authenticity of a model that was first brought to our attention last year. There are some models being sold online claiming to be MGT00004-MJC, the chase car version of our LB★WORKS Nissan GT-R (R35) Type I, Rear Wing ver 2, Light Blue. Some of these models are not authentic MINI GT products and are being sold through various online channels such as eBay, etc. (Source reported by fans) Some of our loyal fans have purchased the chase version of this model but have doubts if what they received is an authentic product. At first, we could not be 100% sure judging by photos of models inside the blister packaging. However, we recently received open-box, detailed photos provided by enthusiastic fans, and we can now be sure that this model was not an authentic MINI GT model chase car. Important details that indicate that this model was counterfeit / not authentic. 1. The under chassis of MINI GT is made of metal and will include a MINI GT logo and Nissan R35 legal texts (for this model). The screw holes are in a perfect round shape. In this picture, the under chassis is made of resin, does not include the MINI GT logo, Nissan legal texts, and has oval shape screw holes. 2. This version of chase car should have a ducktail rear wing.
