It’s kinda funny where life takes you. Eight years ago i went on @foodnetwork @foodnetworkchopped grill masters tournament I won my round and went on to the finals and won the whole damn thing. I met and competed with some of the best that week. No one knew who I was and I know no one didn’t ever thought i would win the whole tournament . Never been on tv just a Meskin Boy from Uvalde representing Texas. Win or lose I was already a winner I was on my favorite show doing what I love. This show forever changed my life and I will be forever grateful. Like I always say “let me get my foot in the door and I will kick the door down” If life ever gives you a once in a lifetime opportunity you take it and run with it cause it might be your only chance!! - @popeofbbq on Instagram
