4️⃣ Krishnas Love for Butter: Krishna loved eating butter. As he grew older, Krishna started stealing butter from his own house and neighbours’. Yashoda hung up the butter so that Krishna wouldn’t be able to reach it. Slowly, other gopis also followed suit. Krishna and his friends weren’t the ones to give up easily. They worked out a solution to this. The next time they raided a house for butter, Krishna made his friends form a human pyramid. He reached the top and broke the pot of butter. The friends relished it, much to the anger and disappointment of the gopis! Moral - Focus on the Solution and not on the problem. 11th September 1893: Swami Vivekananda Delivers his First Speech in the Parliament of the Worlds Religions in Chicago On 11th September 1893 Swami Vivekananda, a famous Hindu monk delivered his first speech in the Parliament of the Worlds Religions in Chicago. Swami Vivekananda was a wandering Hindu monk who was the most prominent disciple of Ramakrishna, a well known 19th century saint. Vivekananda is remembered as one of the key people who introduced Indian philosophies such as Vedanta and Yoga to the West. He is also responsible for awakening Hinduism in India, while also assisting the idea of Nationalism in British India. Swami Vivekananda has also established the Ramakrishna Mission and the Ramakrishna Math. Born Narendra Nath Datta on 12th January 1863, to an influential family in Kolkata, from a young age Vivekananda displayed an inclination towards spirituality. One of the major influences on his life was his guru Ramakrishna who taught him that all living beings are manifestations of the Divine and hence service to mankind is ultimately service to God. Following the death of his Guru Ramakrishna, Vivekananda began a tour of India and eventually studied the conditions prevalent in Colonial India. Later, Vivekananda travelled around the world to the United States, England and other parts of Europe and delivered lectures, both public and private, sharing the basic principles of Hinduism with the West. One of Vivekananda’s most memorable speeches was at the Parliament of the World Religions in Chicago in 1893 where he introduced India and Hinduism to the West. Even though Swami Vivekananda was initially nervous of addressing the large international gathering of seven thousand people, he bowed to Saraswati and began his speech by addressing all the gathered as “Sisters and brothers of America”. Upon uttering these words, Vivekananda received a two minute standing ovation from the crowd. He began his speech by greeting the youngest nation on behalf of “the most ancient order of monks in the world, the Vedic order of sannyasins, a religion which has taught the world both tolerance and universal acceptance. पद्मिनी एकादशीएकादशी का व्रत सभी व्रतों में श्रेष्ठ माना गया है Padmini Ekadashi 2020: हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, अधिक मास की शुक्ल पक्ष तिथि को यानी रविवार, 27 सितंबर को पद्मिनी एकादशी का व्रत रखा जाएगा. एकादशी का व्रत सभी व्रतों में श्रेष्ठ है. भगवान विष्णु (Lord vishnu puja) को समर्पित अधिक मामस में तो इस व्रत का महत्व और भी ज्यादा होता है. इस दिन व्रत रखने से भगवान विष्णु आपकी हर मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण करते हैं. कब है पद्मिनी एकादशी? हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, 26 सितंबर 2020 को शाम 6 बजकर 59 मिनट पर दशमी तिथि का समापन हो जाएगा और इसके ठीक बाद एकदाशी का शुभारंभ हो जाएगा. मान्यता कि जिस दिन से एकादशी तिथि का आरंभ होता है उसी दिन से इस व्रत की पूजा आरंभ हो जाती है. पद्मिनी एकादशी का व्रत रविवार, 27 सितंबर को ही रखा जाएगा. व्रत की पूजा विधि पद्मिनी एकादशी व्रत के दिन सुबह जल्दी स्नान करें और पूजा स्थल पर बैठकर व्रत का संकल्प लें. इसके बाद पूजन कार्य आरंभ करें. इस दिन विष्णु पुराण पढ़ें या सुनें. इस व्रत में रात के वक्त भी भगवान विष्णु की पूजा की जाती है. इसलिए रात्रि में भजन और कीर्तन करना चाहिए. व्रत की हर पहर में पूजा का विधान है. एकादशी व्रत में पारण भी पूरे विधि-विधान के साथ करना जरूरी, तभी इसका फल प्राप्त होता है. पद्मिनी एकादशी शुभ मुहूर्त एकादशी तिथि प्रारम्भ: रविवार, 26 सितंबर शाम 07.00 बजे एकादशी तिथि पारण: सोमवार, 27 सितंबर शाम 07 बजकर 46 मिनट. These lessons Bhagat learned in his meetings with Nanak enabled him to become a spiritual being (gurmukh). Lahir dengan nama lengkap Syekh Yusuf Abul Mahasin Tajul Khalwati Al-Makassari Al-Bantani atau yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan Syekh Yusuf Al-Makasari. Lahir dari pasangan Abdullah dan Aminah lalu memulai pendidikan agama di Cikoang saat usia 15 tahun. Syekh Yusuf juga berguru pada Sayyid Ba-Alawi bin Abdul Al-Allamah Attahir dan Sayyid Jalaludin Al-Aidid. Pernah singgah di Aceh lalu pergi ke Gujarat dan bertemu dengan Syekh Nuruddin Ar-Raniri, salah seorang penasihat Sulthanah Shafiyatuddin. Beliau berkelana selama kurang lebih 20 tahun mulai dari Gujarat, Yaman, Damaskus (Suriah) hingga akhirnya ke Makkah dan Madinah. Selesai menimba ilmu, Syekh Yusuf kembali ke Nusantara. Konon, ia tidak kembali ke Gowa, tetapi ke Banten dan bertempat tinggal di wilayah kerajaan yang saat itu dipimpin oleh Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Syekh Yusuf ditangkap Belanda ketika Kesultanan Banten dekalahkan Belanda tahun 1682. Hingga akhirnya beliau diasingkan ke Sri Langka tahun 1684. Namun begitu semangatnya tidak surut. Syekh Yusuf melakukan dakwah dan penyebaran islam di Sri Langka yang dapat cukup menarik banyak murid. Salah satunya, ulama besar India, Syekh Ibrahim ibn Mian. Karena khawatir dakwah Syekh Yusuf akan berdampak oleh kepentingan politik Belanda di Nusantata, beliau dijatuhi hukuman mati. Karena ditentang oleh Raja Makassar dan Raja Alamghir di India, hukuman pun dibatalkan. Sebagai gantinya Syekh Yusuf dijatuhi pembuangan seumur hidup. Beliau diasingkan di Afrika Selatan pada tahun 1694.Di Afrika Selatan, Syekh Yusuf membangun permukiman di Cape Town yang sekarang dikenal sebagai Macassar. Dia pun dikenal sebagai orang pertama yang menyebarkan Islam di Afrika Selatan. Melihat jasa beliau, pemerintah Indonesia menanugerahi gelar pahlawan nasional tahun 1995. Lebih dari itu pada tahun 2005, Presiden Afrika Selatan Thabo Mbeki memberikan gelar Pahlawan Nasional Afrika Selatan kepada Syekh Yusuf. Begitu besar jasa-jasa beliau kepada umat Islam di Indonesia maupun di luar sana. Now, the beginning... in the beginning of the Bhagavad-gītā, Arjuna, in the battlefield, he was perplexed whether to fight or not to fight. That was his problem. First of all he thought that, My cousin-brothers, they have given me so much trouble. They have usurped my kingdom. So I must fight with them and retake my lost kingdom. That is determination. Again, when actually in the battlefield he saw his brothers and his friends... because it was a family quarrel, so in both the sides all the friends and relatives they joined, either to this party or that party. But the beauty is that Arjuna became compassionate, that Why should I fight simply for the kingdom? How long I shall remain in the kingdom? Let me not to . . . not fight. Let me not to fight. Ill not . . . I shall not fight. That was his decision. Because he was a devotee of the Lord, this good compassion came into his mind. The other party, they did not consider it. The other party was determined to fight. Now, Arjuna was hesitating, and therefore the Bhagavad-gītā was explained. The Lord first of all tried to engage him in the battle in the ordinary way, and when he... when it was not possible and there was some arguments between Arjuna and Kṛṣṇa in favor and in, against the fighting... but at last Arjuna decided that Let me appoint Kṛṣṇa, the best amongst us, to advise me what to do and what not to do. Then the Bhagavad-gītā was begun. Emperor Ashoka - The Great Empire of India. Ashoka the Great, was an Indian emperor of the Maurya Dynasty, who ruled almost all of the Indian subcontinent from c. 268 to 232 BCE. He was the grandson of the founder of the Maurya Dynasty, Chandragupta Maurya, who had created one of the largest empires in ancient India. One of Indias greatest emperors, Ashoka expanded Chandraguptas empire, and reigned over a realm that stretched from present-day Afghanistan in the west to Bangladesh in the east. It covered the entire Indian subcontinent except for parts of present-day Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The empires capital was Pataliputra (in Magadha, present-day Patna), with provincial capitals at Taxila and Ujjain. In about 260 BCE, Ashoka waged a destructive war against the state of Kalinga (modern Odisha). He conquered Kalinga, which none of his ancestors had done. Some scholars suggest he belonged to the Jain tradition, but it is generally accepted that he embraced #Buddhism. Legends state he converted after witnessing the mass deaths of the Kalinga War, which he himself had waged out of a desire for conquest. Ashoka reflected on the war in Kalinga, which reportedly had resulted in more than 100,000 deaths and 150,000 deportations, ending at around 200,000 deaths. Ashoka converted to Buddhism about 263 BCE. He is remembered for the Ashoka pillars and edicts, for sending Buddhist monks to Sri Lanka and Central Asia, and for establishing monuments marking several significant sites in the life of Gautama Buddha. It was Vishwakarma Jayanti on Sep 16th. A revered figure in our scriptures, Vishwakarma is often referred to as Deva Shilpi or the divine architect. He is mentioned at multiple places in Vedas where he is many times equated with supreme Brahma or Brahma himself. It sorta make sense as well, as Brahma is the one who creates, who builds. However, multiple stories from puranas and epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana. The golden Lanka was designed and architected by him and so was Pandavas Indraprastha and Krishnas Dwarka. The famous weapons, Vajra of Indra, Trident of Shiva, Sudarshan Chakra are also attributed to him. (A) બંધારણનો 86મો સુધારો ,સંવિધાન કલમ 21 (ક) રાઈટ ટુ એજ્યુકેશન R.T.E. 6 થી 14 વર્ષના બાળકને નિ:શુલ્ક નેે ફરજિયાત શિક્ષણ.લગભગ ધોરણ 1થી 5 એક કિ.મી.ની ત્રિજયામાં ને 30 વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ એક શિક્ષક...ધોરણ 6 થી 8 ત્રણ કિ.મી.ની ત્રિજયામાં ને 35 વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ એક શિક્ષક...એક વિદ્યાર્થી દીઠ 8 ચો.ફૂટ જગ્યા..18000 ગામડાઓમાં 40000 જેટલી શાળાઓ ,પ્રમાણમાં પૂરતા શિક્ષકો,સાધનો +મધ્યાહન ભોજન + ઓન લાઇન શિક્ષણ તથા ૫+૩+૩+૪ ની નવી શિક્ષણ નીતિ વગેરે,વગેરે (B) ભાર વગરનું (વધારનારુ) ભણતર...6 વષઁનું બાળકને 6 કિલોનું દફતર..(કરોડરજ્જુ ??)એક સમજી શકાય એવી બાબત છે કે ગ્રાઉન્ડ અને ગ્રંથાલય વિના શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થા ઊભી થઈ શકે નહીં..પહેલાં શારીરિક સ્વાસ્થ્ય ને પછી માનસિક સ્વાસ્થ્ય. ક્યાં છે.. ગ્રાઉન્ડ...? વળી ફ્લેટમાં રહેણાંક.નીચે વાહન પાર્કિગની જગ્યા નથી,ત્યાં કાનુડાને રમવા માટેની જગ્યાનો વિચાર જ ક્યાં કરવો..વળી આ મમ્મી પપ્પા પાસે એક નવો શબ્દ ઘર કરી ગયો છે ઇન્ડોર ગેમ...ને એ ગેમ પણ મોબાઈલમાં...! (C) 6 વષઁનો બાળક શાળાએ ગયો..ઘેર આવ્યો...મમ્મીએ પૂછ્યું.- બેટા આજે શું થયું? દીકરાએ કહ્યું ,મમ્મી મને બે-ત્રણ દોસ્ત,મિત્રો,મળી ગયાં...મમ્મીએ કહ્યુ ના બેટા એ તારા દોસ્ત નથી,હરીફ છે...જે શિક્ષણ પ્રણાલી પહેલા દિવસથી જ હરિફાઈ શીખવાડે ને મિત્રતા ન શીખવાડે તે પ્રણાલી શા કામની..? (D) પોતાના કાનુડાને લેવા માટે સ્કૂલના ગેટે અડધો કલાક વહેલા ભેગી થતી મમ્મીઓની કાનુડાના ટકા,પ્રોજેક્ટ, કૉમ્પીટીશનમાં નંબરની વાતો સાંભળવા જેવી છે.જેને તમે કનૈયો,લાલો કહો છે તેની માતા કોણ..? યશોદા કે દેવકી..? તમે યશોદા ( પાલક માતા ) બની શકો છો ..??બીજાના બાળકને લાડ લડાવી શકો છો ? આપણે બીજાના બાળકના ટકા ,પ્રોજેક્ટ કે પ્રથમ નંબર જોઈને બળી જઈએ છીએ..ત્યારે બીજી બાજુ યશોદાના કાનુડાનો ઉત્સવ ઉજવીએ છીએ ..જ્યારે આપણે બીજાના બાળકને ઉછેરવાની/ સમજવાની/ સ્વીકારવાની તૈયારી રાખીશું તો કૃષ્ણ જન્મોત્સવ ઉજવણી સાર્થક ગણાશે . NIJIGARH TAPANG DECLARED PROHIBITED AREA BY KHORDHA DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION The scenic spot Nijigarh Tapang, close to the city of Bhubaneswar recently gained tremendous popularity as many started visiting this abandoned mine site because of its beauty. Now, the Khordha district administration has declared Nijigarh Tapang as a prohibited area. Moreover, the civic body has announced that action will be taken against the violators. The district administration has urged people not to visit the stone query as many undetonated dynamites are still lying in the area which may pose threat to their lives. The administration further added that the hills are steep and it might pose a threat to life if one slips and falls into the water. The Monsoon Palace, also known as the Sajjan Garh Palace, is a hilltop palatial residence in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan in India, overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake. It is named Sajjangarh after Maharana Sajjan Singh (1874–1884) of the Mewar Dynasty, who it was built for in 1884. The palace offers a panoramic view of the citys lakes, palaces and surrounding countryside. It was built chiefly to watch the monsoon clouds; hence, appropriately, it is popularly known as Monsoon Palace. It is said that the Maharana built it at the top of the hill to get a view of his ancestral home, Chittaurgarh. Previously owned by the Mewar royal family, it is now under the control of the Forest Department of the Government of Rajasthan and has recently been opened to the public. Umā bertanya kepada mereka, Kepada siapa kalian mengajukan doa? Seketika Durgā muncul dari pori-pori kulit dewi Umā & berkata, O Ibu, nyanyian pujian ini ditujukan kepada-Ku. Setelah Kauśikī (Durgā) diciptakan dari tubuh Pārvatī, tubuh Pārvatī berubah menjadi hitam & dikenal sebagai KāIī. Apakah Umā (Pārvatī), Durgā, & Kālī adalah dewi yang berbeda? Kālī, Umā, & Durgā adalah satu dalam kenyataan namun berbeda dalam hal kemunculan-Nya. Mereka adalah bentuk-bentuk dari Tuhan Ādi Parāśakti (aspek feminim Tuhan) yang sama. Setiap satu kalpa (4,32 milyar tahun sekali), Ibu jagat raya ini dalam permainan rohani-Nya turun ke alam semesta material sebagai Satī (putri Prajāpati Dakṣa) & kemudian sebagai Pārvatī (putri raja Himālaya). Hal ini dilandasi bahwa kemanapun Tuhan Śrī Sadāśiva (maskulin) turun menjelma, Śakti-Nya (yang bersifat feminim) turut serta ikut bersama-Nya. Remembering Khushwant Singh on his Birth Anniversary. Interestingly he has two birthdays, 2-Feb & 15-Aug. Mr. Singh was born in 1915 in Hadali, a village which is now in Punjab Province in Pakistan. His date of birth was not recorded, but according to his autobiography, “Truth, Love & a Little Malice” (2002), his father, Sobha Singh, invented the date Feb. 2 when he enrolled him in school Mr. Singh later changed it to Aug. 15, based on his grandmother’s recollection. 2.Krishnas Foster Home : As soon as Krishna was born, the guards manning Devaki and Vasudeva’s cell went into a deep slumber, and the locks fell open. Placing baby Krishna in a wicker basket, Vasudeva left for Gokul. When he reached the Yamuna river, he saw that it was flooded due to the pouring rain. But he had to save Krishna’s life. So, without fearing for his own life, Vasudeva started walking across the river. With his every step, the waters receded, and Lord Vishnu’s serpent Adishesha protected baby Krishna from the rain. When Krishna reached Nanda’s house, he saw that his wife Yashoda had given birth to a baby girl. Slowly, he picked the baby up and placed Krishna in her place. Then, he returned to the prison with the baby. Devaki and Vasudeva had hoped that Kamsa would spare the baby girl because the prophecy had mentioned Devaki’s eighth son. But Kamsa didn’t care. He snatched the baby from their hands and flung her against a wall. Miraculously, the baby transformed into Goddess Durga and informed Kamsa that Devaki’s eighth son was alive and would soon come for him. Moral - Where there is a will there is a way. ਦਸ਼ਵੰਧ ---------- ਛੇਵੇਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਦਿਆਂ ਇਕ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੰਦੇਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗਰੀਬ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ । ਗੁਰੂ ਕੀ ਗੋਲਕ। । ਭਾਵ ਕਿਸੇ ਗਰੀਬ (ਲੋੜਵੰਦ)ਨੂੰ ਦਿਤੀ ਗਈ ਮੱਦਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੀ ਗੋਲਕ (ਖਜਾਨਾ)ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਠੇਕੇਦਾਰਾਂ/ਪੁਜਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਗੋਲਕ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੀ ਗੋਲਕ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਪੈਸਾ ਕੇਵਲ ਗੋਲਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਪਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਖੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੈ __ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਇਕ ਪਸੌਰ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੇ ਮਧੂਮਖੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਚੋਅ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਫ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਕ ਬਰਤਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਂਟ ਕਰਨ ਤੁਰ ਪਿਆ। ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਰੁਕਿਆ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਕਾਮ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਏ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੋਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੜਾ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਈ ਸ਼ਾਹਿਬ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਦੋ ਕੁ ਚਮਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿਓ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਵਾਈ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ ਖਾ ਲਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਖੰਘ ਜ਼ੁਕਾਮ ਠੀਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਸਿਖ ਨੇ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਤਾ ਮੈਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ। ਉਹ ਵਿਚਾਰਾ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਖੰਘਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਤੇ ਜੁਕਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਬੁਰਾ ਹਾਲ ਰਿਹਾ। ਸਵੇਰੇ ਉਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਲ ਚਾਲੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅਗੇ ਲਿਆ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਜਾਣੀ ਜਾਣ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੀ ਹੋ?ਸਿੱਖ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਅਸੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਰਾਤ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਰਹੇ,ਸਾਡਾ ਖੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੁਕਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਬੁਰਾ ਹਾਲ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਦੋਂ ਕਿਓਂ ਨਾ ਦਿਤਾ? ਸਿੱਖ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੀ ਉਹ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਥੋਂ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਸੀ,ਪਰ ਮੈ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਹਾਂ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਆ ਕੇ ਪੈਸੇ,ਕਪੜੇ ਜਾਂ ਭੋਜਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਸ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਆਏ ਦੀ ਮੱਦਦ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ,ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਹਾਜਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦਸ਼ਵੰਧ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੀ ਗੋਲਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਣਿਆ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਸ਼ੰਦੇਸ ਨੇ ਦਸ਼ਵੰਧ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਗੋਲਕਾਂ ਤਕ ਹੀ ਸੀਮਤ ਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੱਖੀ। - @sikhpride_ on Instagram

कलियुग केवल नाम अधारा,सुमिर-सुमिर नर उतरहिं पारा..... भगवान के नाम का जो इतना अवर्णनीय महत्व है वह तो सभी युगों के लिए होना चाहिए, पर सिर्फ कलियुग के लिए ही इसका इतना अधिक महत्व क्यों बताया गया है? अन्य युगों में क्या और भी कोई आधार था? . यह प्रश्न मैनें माननीय स्वर्गीय श्री मिथिलेश व्दिवेदी जी से पूछा था| उन्होंने जो उत्तर दिया था उसे साभार उन्हीं के शब्दों में प्रेषित कर रहा हूँ...... . हर हर महादेव......नमन मान्यवर कृपा शंकर बी. जी, एक बार कुछ मुनि मिलकर विचार करने लगे कि किस समय में थोड़ा सा पुण्य भी महान फल देता है और कौन उसका सुखपूर्वक अनुष्ठान कर सकते हैं?…। वे जब कोई निर्णय नहीं कर सके,तब निर्णय के लिए मुनि व्यास के पास पहुंचे। व्यासजी उस समय गंगाजी में स्नान कर रहे थे। मुनि मंडली उनकी प्रतीक्षा में गंगाजी के तट पर स्थित एक वृक्ष के पास बैठ गयी……। वृक्ष के पास बैठे मुनियों ने देखा कि व्यासजी गंगा में डुबकी लगाकर जल से ऊपर उठे और “शूद्रः साधुः“,”कलिः साधुः” पढ़कर उन्होंने पुनः डुबकी लगायी…। जल से ऊपर उठकर ‘योषितः साधु धन्यास्ताभ्यो धन्यरोस्ति कः ‘ कहकर उन्होंने पुनः डुबकी लगायी…। मुनिगण इसे सुनकर संदेह में पड़ गए। व्यासजी द्वारा कहे गए मन्त्र नदी स्नान-काल में पढ़े जानेवाले मंत्रो में से नहीं थे, वो जो कह रहे थे उसका अर्थ है ‘कलियुग प्रशंसनीय है, शूद्र साधु है, स्त्रियाँ श्रेष्ठ हैं, वे ही धन्य हैं, उनसे अधिक धन्य और कौन है!!!’ मुनिगण संदेह के समाधान हेतु आये थे,परन्तु यह सुनकर वे पहले से भी विकट संदेह में पड़ गए और जिज्ञासा से एक दुसरे को देखने लगे……कुछ देर बाद स्नान कर लेने पर नित्यकर्म से निवृत्त होकर व्यासजी जब आश्रम में आये,तब मुनिगण भी उनके समीप पहुंचे। वे सब जब यथायोग्य अभिवादन आदि के अनंतर आसनों पर बैठ गए तब व्यासजी ने उनसे आगमन का उद्देश्य पूछा। मुनियों ने कहा कि हमलोग आपसे एक संदेह का समाधान कराने आये थे, किन्तु इस समय उसे रहने दिया जाए, केवल हमें संभव हो तो यह बतलाया जाए कि आपने स्नान करते समय कई बार कहा था कि ‘कलियुग प्रशंसनीय है, शूद्र साधु है, स्त्रियाँ श्रेष्ठ हैं, वे ही धन्य हैं, सो बात क्या है? हमें कृपा करके बताएं। यह जान लेने के बाद हम जिस आतंरिक संदेह के समाधान के लिए आये थे,उसे कहेंगे। व्यासजी उनकी बातें सुनकर बोले कि मैंने कलियुग, शूद्र और स्त्रियों को जो बार बार साधुश्रेष्ठ कहा, आपलोग सुनें। जो फल सतयुग में दस वर्ष ब्रह्मचर्य आदि का पालन करने से मिलता है, उसे मनुष्य त्रेता में एक वर्ष, द्वापर में एक मास और कलियुग में सिर्फ एक दिन - @jaishreeramjaihanuman on Instagram

4.7.15 “ The Sacrifice Performed by Dakṣa” TRANSLATION: I did not know your full glories. For this reason, I threw arrows of sharp words at you in the open assembly, although you did not take them into account. I was going down to hell because of my disobedience to you, who are the most respectable personality, but you took compassion upon me and saved me by awarding punishment. I request that you be pleased by your own mercy, since I cannot satisfy you by my words. PURPORT: As usual, a devotee in an adverse condition of life accepts such a condition to be the mercy of the Lord. Factually, the insulting words used by Dakṣa against Lord Śiva were enough to have him thrown perpetually into a hellish life. But Lord Śiva, being kind toward him, awarded him punishment to neutralize the offense. King Dakṣa realized this and, feeling obliged for Lord Śivas magnanimous behavior, wanted to show his gratitude. Sometimes a father punishes his child, and when the child is grown up and comes to his senses, he understands that the fathers punishment was not actually punishment but mercy. Similarly, Dakṣa appreciated that the punishment offered to him by Lord Śiva was a manifestation of Lord Śivas mercy. That is the symptom of a person making progress on the path of Kṛṣṇa consciousness. It is said that a devotee in Kṛṣṇa consciousness never takes any miserable condition of life to be condemnation by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He accepts the miserable condition to be the grace of the Lord. He thinks, I would have been punished or put into a more dangerous condition of life due to my past misdeeds, but the Lord has protected me. Thus I have received only a little punishment as token execution of the law of karma. Thinking of His grace in that way, a devotee always surrenders to the Supreme Personality of Godhead more and more seriously and is not disturbed by such so-called punishment. - @srimadbhagavatam on Instagram

On this day in 1730, 363 Bishnois from Jodhpur were killed in Khejarli, when objected to felling of Khejri trees by the king. Day is celebrated as #ForestMartyrsDay. Scores of ground staff & officers have laid down their lives in protecting the ecological security of country. Can be called as first chipko movement of India. When king of Jodhpur sent teams to fell Khejri trees. Soon summons to a meeting were sent to 83 Bishnoi villages. The cry was “सिर साटे रुख रहे तो भी सस्तो जाण”. With this 363 bishnoi martyred to save trees led by Amrita Devi. To commemorate the day of this bishnoi massacre India observe this day as Forest Martyrs Day. The modern chipko movement was spread in years & is considered as eco-feminist movement, led by women. And a movement for ownership of resources based on gandhian principles. On this #ForestMartyrsDay want to draw your attention toward thousands of #forest personnel serving in remote corners of country. In creeks, on hills & cores unnoticed & unrecognized. He established Courts of Justice, introduced system of revenue settlement and re-organizing all the state departments.Further, he developed infrastructure of the state by introducing telegraphs, railways (Jodhpur State Railway), and developing roads. He formed Imperial Service Cavalry Crops, which later rendered active service in European War. He was honored and created the Knight Grand Commander of the Most Exalted Order of the Star of India in 1875. The Jaswant Thada is an architectural landmark located in Jodhpur.
