Si, toujours vêtue de noir. Un autre signe particulier, c’est qu’elle est une très belle Toutoune, mais on a vu tant et tant de fois sa photo dans les divers quotidiens, hebdomadaires et autres périodiques qu’il serait vain d’insister là-dessus. C’est une personne douce à qui il arriva cependant de tabasser l’honorable M. Vallon au Tabou ; mais il le méritait et ça n’était pas la faute de cette Toutoune. Quand elle dit de quelqu’un « c’est un chien », c’est qu’elle ne l’aime pas. Associa longtemps son sort à celui d’Anne-Marie Cazalis comme le jour et la nuit se plaisent à le faire. S’amuse volontiers à s’enlaidir mais y arrive assez difficilement malgré de louables efforts. Très douée pour le théâtre (elle dit juste), elle a fini par se décider et taquine la chanson sur la scène de la Rose Rouge après plusieurs incursions dans l’art dramatique : elle créa Quatre femmes, de Mouloudji, pour un quart, et on la voit tenir avec beaucoup de justesse un rôle intéressant dans l’Orphée de Jean Cocteau ; précédemment, elle avait été remarquée dans Le Royaume des cieux, film de Duvivier : une de ses répliques : « La porte de la sacristie est ouverte », lui valut à jamais l’estime de Raymond Queneau. Assez fréquemment mentionnée dans l’histoire des caves pour qu’il soit superflu de revenir sur son rôle dans le développement d’icelles. Voudrait être médecin, Dieu sait pourquoi.
