💋Makeup Look: @ctilburymakeup Superstar Glow Highlighter💋 I kept my makeup pretty simple - a whisper of foundation (sheered out), a light dusting of bronzer, a hint of eyeshadow, and one of my most recent favorite glosses, also applied sheerly (@buxomcosmetics Spiked Apple Cider). Today, I wanted the [super]star of the show to be the new Charlotte Tilbury Superstar Glow Highlighter from Holiday 2020 💋I feel like, the way I applied it (synthetic brush) almost applied too much, at first. This is not a formula I would want to build up. I feel like it would emphasize texture if I did so. Instead, when I sheered it out by lightly running my finger tips on top of it, it diffused into a lovely glow. It emphasized my pores slightly, which Im OK with, but if youre not a fan of highlighters that emphasize texture at all, Id be wary. 💋Color wise, I still dont know if I can put my finger on it. Its like an old hollywood style glow - slightly golden but not, not quite champagne because it has more warmth. It looks different in different lighting. I don’t have blush on, so a hint of pink IS shining through. There is SUPER fine shimmer, not glitter. I also added a hint of it between my brow bone and eyeshadow so you could see how it looks there. Its not skillfully applied, but at least it gives you an idea. I included a pic from yesterday with NO foundation on in artificial lighting, too. I had the camera on macro detail mode, and It shows texture for sure. Notice the dirty champagne sheen it has. 💋In all fairness, I dont have my usual set up - I normally have a baby sized ring light where I get ready and take pics, and it adds more light, but thats packed up, so the main pics are in front of a window at 7am when the morning light is slightly less intense.
